I'm using Firefox on here mainly, I only switch to Safari if Firefox spits it's dummy out. Strangely Firefox has issues with the security log in for my internet banking and for my uni Pegasus stuff. Frickin' thing.

This place really is wysiwyg, magic.

Doh! Sorted. It autofills the first box in "choose password" with your current one, you have to remove it then type into the one on the bottom.

In theory, the only ones who should be able to post are Mike, Gringo, Raymy and Andrew. Frazer, I've tried to block you from seeing it, has it worked on your Eye of Providence? Can other peeps try to post a photie to it please? Cheers. Aegis

I think if I go down anymore I'll be doing a Fergie style toe thang. I'm trying to enter in the wee box that says ; Current Password: For security reasons, your current password is required to make changes to your account.

Magic, right where I hoped it would be. Means that whomever starts an event thread can start an album for all the photies from it and everyone can upload to it. Should be good to keep them all in the same place, means that Frazer can then move them into the Gatherings folder as a sub folder when he gets the chance, means we don't have to rely on him to generate all the wee folders for us. I wonder if it means we could also limit who can post to attendees by using the limit functions too? Need to have more plebs to try that out rather than you Mod types. Off to set up a Scottish one to try it out...

Haven't gotten around to watching it yet, managed about five minutes then fell asleep. From what I saw of the behind the scenes thing, it actually looks not too bad. The page at www.foc-u.co.uk/smf says "piss off ya knobber". Well, it actually said "For security reasons, your current password is required to make changes to your account." when I tried it without entering the password at the bottom, and gave the mismatched message again when I stuck it in the wee box at the bottom. I just notice I combined the place Callander with the actual spelling of Calendar and got them both wrong. Threw up the fact that you can't edit entries on the calendar thingy itself, you can only alter what appears on the Events board. Possible to change this at all? It is indeed ya dozy twat, click on the pencil and all is revealed.

Could someone follow the Calender link to events for "Whilst this is what appears in the Calender itself" and try to post a photie in my folder up in the Gallery rather than Frazer's Gatherings one please? Cheers. Andy

I was trying to change my "show online status" thingy and I got the wee message I've attached. I entered my password in the wee box at the bottom "for security you need to enter your password..." but it wouldn't let me play. Sorry to hit with so many stoopid things bud, but figured I'm as dozy as the next Foccer, so mibbes better behind closed doors...

Man, this is REALLY straight forward so far. I'm going to watch how it deals with the events as they progress, see if it differs the highlighting on day 2 of 3, that kinda thing. Ooh, wonder if I can link it to the events in the Gallery section too, so that folks can just click and go?

Having a wee play to see if it highlights all three days or just the 1st with a note of when it finishes? Clicking on the pencil allows you to edit it.

Replied over on the Foc-U proper bud, got a server error message when I tried to post on here.
I had reached this point in the post "Important Tip: Pat’s site he shows the pin vise angled in from the 2 o’clock position but the correct alignment is straight down from the 12 o’clock position. Pat’s picture is posed to illustrate the limited access and he offset the tool for clarity.
Important Tip: The holes to be ..." and was highlighting the 2nd "Important tip:" in bold by selecting it then clicking the bold tab on the top left, as I had done throughout.
Everything after this was then in bold. The bold tab wasn't putting in the [/b} boxes (I've deliberately typed } so it will take it here). I typed the close square bracket thing, then worked my way through the rest of the post, typing in the formatting as I wanted it rather than using the tabs. It worked, but I reckon some of our number will lack both the patience and understanding to do it themselves, leading to more moans about shifting.
Hope that helps.
Andy

Coolio. The title is what appears on the calender itself, whilst the subject is just a normal thread heading.

Just having a wee play to see how the Calendar thing works. "goes" is the subject line, "starts" is the title line.

BMF access has gone. However, I didn't get any notice of me being kicked out. Do folks usually get a wee message or mail saying they have lost access to stuff?

Just tried again, the same "No title" error popped up. Ho de hum.

Just checked there bud, it says it's 16.9MB on disc, so should be well in range?
On a tenuously related note, I'm on a Mac, but PDFs are PDFs are they not?

Not sure if it's browser dependent or not, but when you click the Yuku redirect one, it takes you there in the window/tab you have open. Could this be set to open in a new tab/window? Is it worth it? Or is it just my OCD that likes to have stuff open in new tabs to save faffing about trying to get back to where I came from?
