Had my Foxeye for 4 years now,and it's been great.However, I'm thinking of swapping it for a Thundercat.Does anyone think I shouldn't,and why?

Now Motad has gone bust what are the decent options for a new exhaust. My Foxeye's is rusted to f**k,but reading through the relevant threads,all the other makes seem a bit ropey.Does anybody have any positive experiences with the other makes?

Has anybody here ever heard of early Thundercats having a 5-speed gearbox? I was looking at one on eBay,saw a nice one,so I thought I'd give the chap a ring.During the conversation,he mentioned the bike having a five speed box! Looking at Haynes,it never mentioned a five-speed at all ,only six.Has anyone here ever heard of this,or is the guy pulling me leg!

Hi everyone,Just a quick question-how common is it for the wheels to become corroded ?.I'm asking as both my front and rear tyres are losing roughly about 1psi a day.I have had them refitted by a tyre tech,but they still leak about the same amount,and he did mention possible corrosion-has anybody else had this problem,and short of new wheels,is there anything else I can do?

Hi everybody! Have I just been unlucky,or do decent and long-lived rain covers not exist! I have bought both the Oxford Aquatex,and then after that failed,the more substantial Rainex,but this too has decided let in moisture after a measily 6 months. Do I take the plunge (no pun intended!),or is there something out there which is more effective? -Cheers!

Has anyone toured long-distance satisfactorily two-up on their 600? Just done 180 miles on mine with the wife-she now wants to tour Ireland! However,everybody seems to say that the thou is the perfect pillion tourer.So we tried one for comfort,and the boss said that the seat wasn't a patch on our 600.Would the 600 cope ,or is the thou that much better?

Hi guys, foxeye's going in for an pre- MOT service. I'm just wondering which one mod/tweek would you do that would most improve the bikes capabilities.Already have fender extender/hugga combo,and would like to improve the bike whilst retaining it's classic lines-Cheers!

Greetings,one and all,new foxeye owner signing on.Born again dude,returning after 26 years! Ride back then was an RD 400,and have decided to return to the Yam fold,via 3 months on a CBF 600 (forgiving and gentle bike).Hopefully I can attach PIC of my ride,if not,forgive me,I'm crap with computers!
