Used crash bung kit details below, make me an offer or bid on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=171009113612

ou're bidding for a used Motrax DHM double hard mushrooms kit to fit the Yamaha Fazer 600 98-03 model using the engine mounting bolts on the frame.

I had two kits when I owned my Fazer 600, this was the spare set. After a lowside crash I replaced the damaged right hand side mushroom with one from this kit. Hence now the right hand mushroom in this kit is scraped and shorter than it should be. See comparison photo with the undamaged mushroom to see what I mean.

Everything else in the kit is straight. I don't believe anything from the kit is missing. The winner will receive everything shown below the Box, instructions, 2 mounting plates, 2 spacers and 4 bolts.

UK mainland postage (tracked courier) or pickup in person welcome.

For Sale & Wanted / 2000 Yamaha Fazer 600
« on: 26 October 2012, 06:31:10 pm »
Year 2000 Yamaha Fazer 600 for sale. Generally decent condition, fork bottoms a bit tatty, mechanically brilliant. Located in Buckingham. Approximately 26,000 miles. 9,000 of which have been covered by myself over the last year and a half. In that time I have;

Changed the oil and filter 3 times.

Fitted a K&N air filter and NGK iridium spark plugs.

Balanced the carbs twice and reset the Throttle Position Sensor.

Fitted Goldspot calipers on the front as the standard bluespots were looking tired.

Zx6r front master cylinder with EBC HH pads and braided hoses all round.

Fazer 1000 bluespot rear caliper (the standard 600 one always seizes without fail)

3.5" front wheel allowing 120 rather than the standard 110 size tyres to be fitted, giving a much larger choice of rubber

New this year Stainless Motad Venom headers (the standard 600 ones always Rot without fail)

New rear Michelin Pilot Power, the front is still good with about 3mm left in the middle and a little more on the edges.

New head and rear wheel bearings along with seals.

New chain and sprockets fitted this year along with the updated front sprocket nut (the standard one isn't man enough and usually ends up lunching the gearbox output shaft if not replaced)

Scottoiler so the new chain and sprockets will last for ages with minimal maintenance

Taxed till the end of November, and test till May next year.

Looking for £1300 ono

If I get the asking price I will also include the standard bars complete with heated grips ready to plug in for the nasty weather and
the standard footrests.

Many other bits I'd be willing to part with for a little extra:

Seat cowl

Nitron race shock (choice of springs!)

K-tech linear 0.85kg/mm fork springs

Spare fairing

Standard 3" front wheel with 110 Pilot Power

Spend the money on having the standard one rebuilt or get a Nitron sport or similar.

Adjusted the TPS in about 10 seconds in my lunch break and was rewarded with a bike that starts more eagerly and revs far more crisply from idle. Worth the £3 outlay for correct Torx bit if it needs adjusting imo.

Where did you get the Micron Pipes? And did you notice any difference with the G pack? I'm struggling to see anything on the wiring diagram that relays information to the CDI or anywhere about what gear the bike is in....

Theoretical speed as its only spinning up the dyno drum in top gear. Also he has a rare as rocking horse Micron race system (wish i could find one) and some other bits if i remember rightly. You got me stumped on the rev limit though. Wraith?
