Has anyone had any success using an ordinary bicycle inner tube puncture repair kit to patch a small hole/split in wellington boots?.They are the rubber type rather than the plastic/vinyl material.I don't want to have buy any special adhesive cos they are not that expensive to buy anyway (just used for garden & car washing etc..).

Great start to the morning today.Unexpectedly,but appreciatively,watched the Gresley A4 Pacific No 60009 'Union of South Africa' leaving Cambridge for york.What magnificent machines :).Was too dark still for me to catch it on camera properly,but this clip has been made further up the line in the morning....

General / Dazzling bicycle lights

Has anyone else noticed the current trend for mega-bright bicycle lights?.I'm seeing them more and more now with the darker mornings and evenings.Dazzling is probably an understatement,especially when they are mounted on the riders head (which also seems to be the current trend) and operating in flashing mode :eek.

Just joined this most excellent site.Got a 600 foxeye.Kinda reminds of the RD350lc (comfy with all the practical stuff,but with a bit of a wild side!).Really like the look of the fazer 1000s tho,were they a short production run?,you don't seem to see many about (not compared with the 600 anyway).cheers.YFF.
