Down to one word,
" condensation"

Had one of these style covers for about 8 years, yes you will get some condensation in it, even with the flaps open. Still a far better option than standard covers. Mine is in a sheltered spot, so if your exposed to any wind make sure you lock down the front.

Hi, I havn't read all the posts above so appologies if ths as been mentioned before,
going through somthing similar my self, well caring and trying to do whats best for parents.
Age concern are a great source for help and info, also would highly recomend a social worker, Iknow they can somtime seem like a pain in the ass, but they can also be a huge help.
There's also attendance allowance, and a lot more help you can get, just need to know were to look.
Age Concern will be able to point you in the right direction.
And no its not scrounging, 1 you pay in to the system for theese times when you need a helping hand
2 you'll be helping the local council out, as a nursing home would be charging about £900 a WEEK.

Try your local sign writers, most now do "stickers", just find the ones you want online, had a load of alpinestars made up for my sons van, cheap as chips.

Word of warning with Swinton, the automaticly renew your policy.
Last year rang the 2 days before renewal to cancel, "sorry but your policy has already been renewed"
I had trouble understanding this as my policy still has 2 days to run.
Numorus calls to "customer services" and eventually got it cancelled.
I'd rather pay more than have to deal with them again.

Try local locksmith, had the same with a fuel cap, they use a "backwards"corkscrew, wind it into the barrel along side the key and it winds the stub out. Not much help on a Sunday tho.

Had a Remus alloy can on my BMW, first use in winter with salt around, following day pitted to f**k. Sounded great on on a tractor.
Fzs came with a blue flame, look good, sounds great without the baffle.

Don't know what happend to the link, but yes it was
www.bikebarn.net.  had mine for 8 years galvanised frame, replaced the cover after 6 years, all fabrics will rot at some stage.
My boy had an oxford stormex on his little sv 650, damn good cover, just about to replace as it's gone ripe with age, about4 1/2 yrs.
Still fancying those speakers tho

If you've got the space,   http://www.whathifi.com/Review/Wharfedale-Diamond-91/
Pricey but good, used to have a BMW 1200 GS under mine, so the FZS 1000 fits wth room to spare.

Not knocking the crews, but the institution itself, 50% of my immediate colleagues are lifeboat crew! I work right next to an rnli station, as for money well spent on courses how about sending someone with 25yrs plus of messing about on boats, on a 4 day course on how to be a passenger on a rubber dingy, or a D class for those in the know, as for the wife at Xmas, can anyone control them.

Hit the post to soon,
Got to agree with the above, the crew do get paid,  local lifeboat in Barry has to full time crew, on a bloody good deal, £65 a day for an in house course at sunny Poole for example,I never hear of the crews putting there monthly check back Into the pot, as a charity they waste more money than my Mrs at Xmas.

Yea brave lads indeed, but did you know it is one of the most over subscribed charities out there.
Not trying to take anything away from the lads that selfishly put there lives on the line.
I lived in Hoylake Wirral were we have an RNLI life boat, recently they had a new lifeboat station built at a cost of over £2 million. There is a childrens Hospice not far away Claire House and they struggle to keep going. Along the Wirral coastline there are three RNLI stations New Brighton has a RIB, Hoylake has a Mersey class lifeboat, West Kirby has a RIB, that is three sets of kit that has to be maintained. The Hoylake boat is pulled across the beach on a specialised tractor unit. I really do think for our area that is over kill, RAF Valley is a 20 minute Helicopter (Search &Rescue).
I am certainly not having a go at the boat crews everyone a hero.
Oh 45 years as a merchant seaman so do actually know what bad weather is like.

Going back a few years got chatting to another "punter" while looking at some soft luggage from Oxford, turns out he was checking all retailers were charging the same, no chance of deal then.

Two Thai girls asked me if I'd like to go bed with them, they said it would be just like winning the lottery! I agreed, and they were right. We all stripped off and to my horror, we had six matching balls!

They say that sex is the best form of exercise. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think 2 minutes and 15 seconds every 3 months is going to shift this beer belly :rollin
