I bought a bottle of ghost wipe and it cost me 13 quid at the time.

"Whit?" I said

But that was about 4 years ago and still 3 quart of a bottle left. And that's all through Scottish winters and summers. Good stuff. Gives you a wee buzz as well if yer that way inclined. Have some aspirin ready tho

try 70mph and turn head 90 degrees to the left then to the right (quickly) that clears it but not much use in town, lol.

Bob Heath visor spray on the inside sure works- I was out this morning in freezi9ng fog and icey roads and not a hint of steamed up visor.

Unfortunately, my Nitro visor leaks water down behind when it rains and that instantly washes the Bob Heath stuff off in stripes

Now I have fixed the fog maybe I will tape up the visor when it rains

I've been using Nikwax Visor Proof for a while now and it works well, however I've found that its efficiency starts to drop off after a couple of hours and needs to be reapplied.

Also it doesn't seem to work so well on the sort of fine spray you get in mist or when vehicles are kicking up water behind them meaning you have to wipe the spray off with your hand and that also seems to remove the Visor Proof :(

It says it's for "glass surfaces"... I've never seen (nor would I like to use) a glass visor!! :)

Bin liner - keeps it 100% rain free. :)

Rainx was found by one mag to damage the anti-scratch coating.

I've been using Raincoat, yet another brand of water repellent! Seems to do the job, so long as you going at a reasonable speed 30-40mph +  Anything less and the water doesn't get blown off. Similarly, it doesn't help i f it not really raining much, but road is wet and there's a lot of spray from other cars etc.  Needs recoating quite often (ever week or so), but each sachet in the box has enough for about 3-4 applications.
