Greenlaning around north kent. The lanes are getting less and less as closures slowly take place
Its such a shame! Any chance you can send me some of the lanes you go to. I'd love to do a bit of Greenlaning on the diesel bike but can't find anywhere. North Kent sounds like a good day out.

Camden is the worst for bikes. Pay and display everywhere else is free, in Camden you have to put a ticket on (where?!) hate them.
You take off your fairing and remove the clocks and take apart and insert the ticket behind the clocks glass then put back. No, though----------- what do you do - whats to stop someone taking off, is it also waterproof or somthing, could it blow off even.
exactly. Nothing stopping anybody nicking it or anything.

The common think in most of them Is ramp angle. It's too steep and they bottom out on the crest and then drop it lol! I have also managed to get 3 bikes into the back of a van without dropping them.

Alex. I had a test ride on the later F800GT.(2013) Like matey said "but just got no soul."
I got back on my Tuono and haven't looked back yet.. Mind I do like the F800GS.
And...I do need a change now.
I never did test ride the gt, It was way out of my price bracket. This bike has had a few bits changed which makes a difference, I imagine stock it would be pretty boring.

Got my F800 the other day, really happy with it so far, nice and torqy straight from idle.
The cheeky bugger who part exed my fazer off me had a go at my headlights saying they were crap, and saying he had to change them out as they didnt put any light out. What a cheeky c**t! If I had known he would be a tosser I would have taken my custom led brake boards, and indicator boards and projector headlights off and offered them to people on the forum!
Had the balls to say it needed 2 new tyres and that the fronts had tread seperation (MY ARSE!)

As per title.
I have a blue spot rear caliper from an FZ1 and the torque arm, pullled from a bike with 12k on it. Very good condition.
Never got around to fitting it to my fzs 600 and the cheeky bugger thats giving me pennies for my fazer isnt getting it!
Make me an offer, but expecting around £80-90 quid (what I paid for it). Will be shipped using and insured courier.

That's the best one. Official mercedes Benz club forum. Lots of knowledgeable people and independent Mercedes specialists on there that give advice regularly. I have been on the for 3-4 years. I'm alexanderfoti on there.

You'll be back. I changed from a gen 1 thou to a F800ST, nice bikes but just too bland for me. They do everything extreemly well, but just got no soul.
Back on a Fazer 8 now, love it. Enjoy the beemer, but see you back on a Fazer soon
Hmm maybe it will be a stepping stone to an fz8, you never know!

Hi All I know I havent been on here much recently, mainly becuase I go on the forum at work through my phone, and tapatalk hasnt been working on this site for aaagess. Anywhoo, I have just done a deal to trade in my FZS600 for a F800ST 2008 . I am getting £1100 for my fazer, which is a cheeky deal considering its done 19,500 miles and its basically new looking! I will still be about for ride outs! just on my slower taller Beamer!

Keeping fingers crossed its guna be good weather and my bike doesn't break down! Cant ride fast for this one, cam chain on way out and fuel pump regularly failing above 65mph! (ordered parts from wemoto last week still not arrived!)
Got to be careful with the fuel pump, don't want to run lean at high load!
