Got a few miles in down east cork direction ..great to be back on the fazer .almost forget how well it soaks up the shite roads..only getting my full confidence in the sportsmart tyres now after the spill but they seem quite good sofar....nose faring had a relatively clean break so have some good glue on it and looks reasonably OK other than the road rash .I'll leave it as is through the winter though.be fresh and clean for next summer then   :thumbup

took a spin down east cork and popped into the post office parked in the usual spot,,left 3 feet between me and the jeep to my left ,even though they had enough room to pull out without reversing ,,anyway as im gettin served in the post office a guy comes in "hey your bike is after colapsing"  :eek   runs out only to see the tuono on its side and a fuckin blonde tramp whore standing over it scratchin her head ,,picks it up and said bitch proceeds to tell me those marks should wash off ,,yer havin a laugh i says so on come the cops who start asking me why im parked in a loading bay ,i says did u ask her the same question ? eh no,,,,there bloody attitude was those marks will probably polish out  :rolleyes ,, fuck that ill be havin a garage check the whole bike over before i do anything else ,,from what i can see i the bar end is broken ,the carbon engine casing is goosed having done its job ,theres a scuff on the akropovic exhaust front crash bobbins are scuffed,, mirror and left side fairing is scuffed and came loose "prob just a clip" ,,the right hand giles rearset looks to me as if it is bent slightly back intowrds the frame aswell , :'( ,,fuck me im glad today is over  :rolleyes

lads yer all lucky ye are on that side of the water,,,its a bloody cartel going on in Ireland has been for years,,and now that one or two companys have gone to the wall customers are being fleeced so they can recoup some of their losses they incurred during floods and what have you,,very few companys to choose from compared to the uk market...as for MCE i got a great quote off them "340"but done some research and heard horror stories about them not even sending out documents not answering there phones"which is expensive from Ireland" ,,mabey cause there bread and butter is the uk market they dont really care for the irish customers .
it was costing me 300 euro with carol nash just for the fazer alone ,,,but since im now insuring the 2011 apprilla tuono along with the fazer its costing me 510 euro ,even though on my renewal they asked for 710 euro and with a bit of playing on off the other i got it down to 510 ,,count yerselves lucky guys
