Had a similar problem fitted new brake discs black shadow and new EBC HH pads then the bike developed really bad vibration problems when braking turns out after stripping the calipers off outside the hotel in the IOM two pistons we're sticking obviously the dust seals have failed so they at off to Powerhouse in Sheffield how do a caliper refurb service hopefully this will cure the problem!!!!

Re disc bolts i did a refurb of my wheels last year and treated myself to a set of Black Shadow discs obviously i wanted new bolts as the stock ones go really shitty unfortunately i went for the pro-bolt option and they cost me an arm and a leg also i had issues with deliveries and incorrectly sent goods ,however i cocked a couple up as i had to take the rear disc off as it was the wrong one another bloody row with the black shadow disc man,so now i need a couple of new bolts and realised i always used to use my local fastener company so off i went with a sample of said bolt the nice informed man took a quick look and said what grasde s/steel do youy require i told him that they were to fix discs on with and so provided me with grade 8 s/steel the highest quality and 35p ea later i was off i wished i had remembered this company i would have saved a fortune, they are based in the Black country so if anyone needs there number let me know they are called west Bromwich fasteners i do believe they have a web site and they do anything in fasteners.

If the bars are Renthal 758's and you think they are too wide just cut the ends down i did and they are far nmore comfortable than the standard toffee bars, the extra width makes a tremendous diiference to the riding position and comfort!

Just changed all the hoses on mine for nice blue Samco silicone hoses then refilled the rad ran the engine for a couple of minutes to check for any leaks once that's done i run the motor quickly with the rad cap off i found that cures any air lock in the system! ;)

i'm off to the TT have done for 30 years or so! the place is for me heaven i truly admire every competitor from 1st place to last however regarding the young Dunlop christ knows what will happen i used to short circuit race the things myself and they are quirky at the best of times i really cant see it happening ,but if it does i'll be watching with baited breath, the Birchall brothers race there i know them well and as ex world champs they are fast methodicall and smooth and they say it,sa scary ride. :eek
