Hello Foccers,  during the recent hot weather I've taken to riding the twisties at night when it's cooler.
I want to fit some spot lamps to the front of the bike to help illuminate the lanes a bit better.
So, anyone fitted them ? Where abouts and how did you wire them ?
I'm thinking to splice them into the high beam as I don't want to think about pressing a separate switch when I'm on the move.
Bike is an FZS1000 also going the same route with the MT10.
Any ideas or advice would be helpful.  :)

I hope the animosity between certain members will now start to dissipate. I think if the last 4 months have taught me anything its that some things in life are bad, they can really make you mad. Other things just make you swear and curse
When you're chewing on life's gristle don't grumble, give a whistle and this'll help things turn out for the best and.......

As I have pointed out time and time again I don't start such threads (well I did start one once) However I'm minded to express my own view point if others express politcal viewpoints I do not agree with, particulary so if I consider them unreasonable.

Do you ever just re-read what you write and think....My God, that makes me look like a contradictory, hypocritical, argumentative, arrogant, oblivious  w#nker  :lol

Well done BBrown. Thanks. For the  invite to become a mod. When do we start the cull ? :b
I've got 4 lined up  :D

Think someone mentioned that Yamaha UK will not issue COC for imported vehicles. Mine is a French import and they’ll be plenty of others out there.

Mine is a French import. Getting a COC isn't a problem.
It's only American imports that fall foul.

No worries Dazza. It is a good day out, but totally understand that work is always the deciding factor. Maybe we could sort out a Chilham Bends Sunday :lol . Take care.

Definitely. Take care too... :thumbup

I’d be up for this Robbo but I’ve just started my 4th week back at work and it would mean riding all day and working all night. Never a good combination when you’re working with electrified tracks and 600ton metal things on wheels.
Definitely going to have a long weekend in Wales now it’s opened up though soon.

I believe it was the AA that recovered me, or the the RAC......Or was it Green Flag .... My memories shit  :lol
But anyway due to the current Covid restrictions they have to protect their own employees and by the same token can't leave you stranded.
I was around 80 miles from home and they picked up the tab so again, I wouldn't sweat it although it's always worth checking for peace of mind.

I wouldn’t worry about it.
I broke down Tuesday night on my way to work in my car at Heathrow airport.
I just made it to work and completed my shift then called recovery in the morning.
Turned out the alternator was shot so the recovered my car back to my house and arranged me a taxi which came around 25 minutes after my car had gone.
I passed my car on the M25 and shortly after being dropped off at home my car was delivered to my door.
The only thing you have to watch out for is depending on your breakdown cover some will only recover you a certain radius.
Worth checking this and changing your cover if that’s the case .

Lovely morning to be out on the bike early. Met up with the usual breakfast run members, for another 200+ miler, taking in most of Sussex and Kents best biking roads, including the Chilham Bends, which are always guaranteed to put a smile on your face :lol :thumbup .

Nice one Robbo. Going to be hitting those bends later. Roads have been pretty clear around that area lately.
Round my way every bend you come to has a jogger, walker or cyclist....Or a car on the wrong side of the road trying to avoid them  :lol

Fixed my leaking fork seals with a DIY tool I cut out from a lemonade bottle.
After a few pumps and a little ride out to see if it has fixed the problem...Success.
No more leaking seals and saved me a strip down to replace them.

These results are quite interesting.
It seems that some are quite nicely balanced meaning they have a healthy understanding and  tolerance of everything in general and the usual suspects are all massively leaning the same way = Extremists

Still got my old girl, can't bring myself to part with it.  Blacks OK as long as it's YELLOW in between.
Haven't had either bike out as I've been working my way round the garden attacking brambles and shit during this lockdown.
Might wait for a sunny day and pull em out for a bit of a once over.

I'm reading this at the moment. Quite informative and makes you realise how much bullshit and  bias there is in MSM.
However, if your intellect isn't up to the job, may I recommend the second option. :lol :lol :lol

Very nice. I had this model in 1983. After passing my test on a GP100 it felt like a rocket ship.

I've got to ask...... How much ?

Sorry Reaper, just clicked on the photos with my glasses on and thought the paintwork on the spring was in better condition.
I suffer from a bit of OCD when it comes to my bikes.

I will pass on this sadly so still up for grabs.
