Just ordered a 2 line kit today and discount still applies  :D

Thanks Joe Rock,

Chris

It wouldn't be fun if it was easy, I just wish it wasn't this much fun.

Ordered a 2 line kit today (with discount), so thought I'd bump this thread for those bringing their bikes out of hibernation.

Wonder if Joe or one of the mods could change the title of this thread to something like "HEL braided brake line discount" so that people actually know what it is about??

You sure would mate, just say you're a member of the forum but you've got multiple bikes and they're more than happy to oblige!

Fantastic!!!  I've just ordered a 2 lines front plus rear line for £67.49 with free delivery.
I phoned Hel but they asked me to do it online, when I asked about the foccer discount he gave me a code to enter online.
I wouldn't like to abuse them by posting the code in an open forum but if any members want it please pm me.

I forgot to add my thanks.  I put a 3 line kit on my fazer last year.  A cracking deal.  Bleeding the brakes took way longer than expected but as a newb gave me great satisfaction to get rock hard brakes.

Thanks Joe.

Yes a big thanks to Joe. Mine arrived Tuesday will be fitting tomorrow. Any tips for the priming and bleeding would be  gratefully received. Cheers

Got my set of front & rear lines fitted, also bought a set of their s/s bleed nipples- absolutely brilliant & dead easy using my ancient Mityvac pump. I thought the price would be the same as at RaceLines but turned out a good few quid cheaper!
BTW when I phoned up they did say that offer wasn't available on the internet site, only by phone.

I have to admit total confusion as to why anyone would go for the two line kit instead of the 3.  The 3 line seems easier and more effective.  Is there ANY reason to go 2 line ?

Just askin, not arguin.

If you mean three front lines, then I have always chosen two simply for cost.

Why would three be anymore effective than two

It's cheaper, tends to be easier to bleed (air can get stuck in the crossover pipe) and for racing purposes 3 line kits are actually banned (although not sure why that actually is!)

All of the above + there are 6 joints to make on the the 3 line setup and only 4 on the 2 line.

Nik really wants your custom, give him your cash and if they're not what you want be a cnut and demand what you've asked for, i.e. hoses for your bike, fit for purpose!
