Congratulations. Glad our days of sleepless nights are now behind us

Lazarus - I was seeing a boat too, but clicking on the picture brought up a cute baby. Pressing Ctrl + F5 fixed the image in the thread.

If you want to keep the tax disc, you'll have to insure the bike.
If you want to SORN it, you have to surrender the tax disc. This would give you 11 months refund (approx £43), then when you sell the bike, retax it for the buyer using their insurance and the new keeper section of the V5. That way the buyer get a full years tax and it's only cost you about £4 instead of however much it would be to insure it.

The main limit that catches people out is the van limits, especially 'car-derived' vans as they still have the 50mph limit on single carriageways and 60mph on dual carriageways.

Without knowing how old you are, just check that you are entitled to tow a trailer with your licence. It used to be that when you passed your test, you automatically got the B+E category added, but now (can't remember offhand when it changed), you have to pass an additional test before you are allowed to tow.

Edit: Linky to current regs. It appears they changed again at the start of this year.

As a side line to the t-shirt printing business we have, we run after school clubs in our local area where the children get to design their own t-shirt and then print it using Magic Touch papers.

One school likes to promote their extra curricular activities and got the local paper in who ran a couple of short articles.

These articles then got picked up by the BBC and we've been invited to appear on a t-shirt printing segment on Blue Peter this Thursday!!

are you aware that insurance contracts are not "buyer beware", but "utmost good faith"? You must declare all facts that a reasonable/prudent underwriter would want to be able to consider when choosing whether to accept a risk, or the premium to charge.

Not any more. The Consumer Insurance  (Disclosure and Representations) Act 2012 came into force on 6 April and changed the onus from 'utmost good faith' to 'reasonable care not to make a misrepresentation'. (2.2 & 2.5a) The standard of care required is that of a reasonable consumer. (3.3)

Exactly how these changes will affect the process of taking out insurance and your rights in the event of a challenge to a claim will no doubt be tested in time, but the changes are designed to protect consumers from claims being voided so easily by insurers.

Just had a look at the current standings and Ventzi (Ice & Spice) is currently in the lead, but only by 2%

If you haven't had the chance to vote yet, please help fellow foccer and maybe win a £5k experience yourself

There are other options for short run full colour prints, but as with most things, each has it's pros and cons

White/pastel t-shirt transfers - Cheap, very good image reproduction and offer a fairly nice finish, but any white areas left on the design do leave an off white appearance on the t-shirt due to the transfer adhesive. A4 & A3 available.

Dark clothing transfers - Offer the option to be cut with a vinyl plotter, but sit on the fabric rather than bonding to it. Finish can feel quite thick and plastic-like. A4 & A3 available (unless anyone has a large format printer  :) )

High-end transfers - Suitable for dark and light colours and are 'self-weeding'. Gives a great finish and is described as having a finish very close to screen printed tops. Process is quite involved (unless you have one of the new white toner ink printers) and the cost per print is quite high (£3-5 more than a vinyl cut t-shirt). A4 available.

As per the sticker thread, OMF already does t-shirts http://www.fatmaggot.com/shop/foc-ucouk/53-foc-u-the-fazer-connection.html

If you read her post in the sticker thread, you'd also know the magic word for a foccer discount  ;)

The images you're trying to share appear to be from an email. The 'hover preview' shows an image source based in a live.co.uk mailbox. You can see them on your post as you are logged in to your email account.

To share them on here, save the image to your computer, then upload them to your album on here (Media>Home>My Album). Once you've uploaded the image, copy and past the BBC embed code - [smg id=xxx] into the post. Have a play in the laboratory if it helps :)
