FZS600 Fazer / Buyers Guide?« on: 20 January 2014, 09:40:28 pm »
I couldnt find a specific buyers guide, bit late now any way
But what are the main things to do, check on them? On my old CCM I had to turn the fuel tap off pretty mych all the time as the fuel would drain down, does this model have that issue? Secondly I'd like to install a 12v socket, is there a how to guide anywhere? Also, wheres the best place for parts and accessories? I'd like to get a belly pan, rear hugger, new levers, probably a few other bits once i have actually seen it ! Thanks 78

Right, the thing is Ive bought a bike oop north and I'm gonna ride it home Saturday but not being a well travelled biker i dont have a sat nav for a bike and I dont feel I need one as I'll not be doing that many journeys where I'll need one.
I'm thinking of just having my i pad in my rucksack and have the directions through an earphone ? Any other suggestions? 85

After a lucky find on ebay I decided I like the look of the 600 Fazer and I hope to be the owner of one this weekend.
I'm fairly new to bikes so I have only owned 2 big bikes so far CCM 644 was a lovely blat about bike but I got a numb arse after an hour or so Yamaha TRX850 wonderful bike but due to a knackered wrist I couldnt ride that for any amount of time so that had to go also! I've also had a few of these Anyway, thats about all I can say about my biking carreer! In my normal life I'm a production supervisor and I volounteer with South East 4x4 Response which help local authorities it adverse weather situations and Kent search and rescue |
