Folk who wear hi vis jackets with pretend police stripes or even worse with POLITE on them, I did ask one particular cocksocket last weekend why he was wearing a POLITE hi vis, he responded that cars would get out of his way, I called him a c you next tueday and he didn't like it much, the knob jockey.

Got one of those who works in the next road from me, he also has different colour reflective squares on his panniers, 2 tiny red lights above the tail end each side of the rear camera, a camera on his shoulder and a white lid with black and white cheque banding on it.
The giveaway is the yellow hi vis jacket he wears is just the same as builders use.  :lol
In fairness people do tend to get out of his way though, even if it is a bit of a strange mentality, and I must confess I even moved out of his way once to let him pass, then felt a bit duped when I saw who it was.  :bobby

That is bordering on the offense of impersonating a police officer. No wait it isnt bordering on - it is impersonating.

Im with you nogster I am sick of BBC lazy bias reporting, bike collided with a car like you say who is to say it was that way around, they should of said a bike and a car collided, and yes why mention high power bike the bbc are against bikes, the day marquez won motogp 2nd time it was nowhere on the bbc news but they managed to report the results of the GB womens netball team.
Oh oh I am mistaken they did report bbc radio on motorbike racing Casey Stoner but only because it was a crash - bikes in bad light again but the lazy dumb twats called him Casey STONEY.

celticdog I also watch  RT for the news that bbc dosnt report, like bbc will have a line saying scuffles at a anti whatever rally (no footage) and turn to RT to see footage of a full blown riot going on. Although RT is just as bias but the other way around its almost funny sometimes they were set up as a response to anti Russian reporting by mainstream news media and show every bad western story they can find and then a Russian story about a cute baby bear cub. So I watch bbc news and then RT and somwhere in the middle may be nearer the truth.

I can see your logic but i dont think that amount of weight difference makes any difference on a road / street bike.
Dont the GP bikes have the tank way down low so an emptying tank dose not have so much affect on the center of gravity

stopped and looking right to do left turn and join the main road. It was clear but there is hidden bend 100 yards on the right.

It wasnt you that didnt see him as he wasnt there, it was his mistake for going too fast and not reading road signs warning of a side road after a bend.
When I know the road and am in your situation when it is clear as was for you I make sure that i get a move on and am away

I forgot to add I am trying not to drain down the whole system as I can isolate the one leaking rad.

I have an unvented system and was able to shut off both sides of all the upstairs rads and so trapping the water in them so all that I had to drain off was the 1 barr pressure and a few pipes that were higher than what I was working on, took off old valves and there was the water level sitting at the top of the pipe.
The valves i linked to have a 15mm connection at both ends and are reversable so you can fit howerver you need, but you need to know what size yours are as some are bigger

But your narrower towel rad will still be from the side as you will also be going inwards by 50mm each side so you get right angled valves which come down from rad and trun 90 to left /right then 50mm pipe then 90 degree elbow on existing pipe.http://www.screwfix.com/p/chrome-angle-radiator-valve-15mm-pair/94103
these valves you can use ant which way you need and not just as the picture, so you fit them with the turn knob facing inwards,
Those copper flex are too long

had a look and they are OK up to 70c, I'm not sure the max temp on the heating side,

Wondering if say the temp of water is 6o would there be a build up of heat at the pipe surface to something over 70

if you are doing the rest of the bathroom later then leave it as is and do it all properly with 15mm later

Just re read yor rad is leaking -- but from where as you could fix

I am a DIYer but done loads and laods and as it appends have just replaced a towel rad yesterday and had to move out by 30mm it as have just tiled and so pipes are now too close to wall

NO you should not use flexi on heating -- not sure about any heat issues for one but the bore in the flexi will restrict the flow to the rad which in turn will not heat up as it should
the other issue you have there is that that rad looks about 900mm wide and towel rads are much narower

Popped into Greggs to get a couple of sausage rolls.  a snaking queue of pikey women and  badly behaved screaming kids
Errrr ----- you were there, what does that say.

I took lunch in a local park surrounded by butterflies that were attracted by the sweet aroma of my tiny little humus and watercress triangles

Insurance AGAIN
For the car this time Admiral multicar me and my daughter she is 22 and now has 2 years NCB yet the insurance has gone up - I am maxed out on my NCB and am 48 so I dont expect any reductions on those two accounts for me anymore but I would of thought at her age and with her adding another year  NCB the insurance should be coming down.

I am sick of it every year having to spend time doing the rounds to find cheaper and then ring my current insurer to tell them for them to say "OH er ok MR Fazersharp lets have a look for you, hold the line I will just speak to my manager------- yes we can match that for you"
WHY DONT YOU FECKING JUST QUOTE ME THE BEST PRICE STRAIGHT THE WAY, cause im not a twat - im not just going to pay it without question so why insult me with a cheeky cash grab.
Im telling you this scam will be the next PPI
