Anyone recommend decent textile jacket for about £150 - £200, I've got an RTS one at the mo but its to tight around the neck so I can't do it up properly as it feels like I'm choking.

Mine's from Wolf Racing, although the one I have appears to have been superceded now, but it's still damn good.

I swear by Hein Gericke gore tex gear. Mine cost about £200 and has lasted 10 + years without a leak and over 100,000 miles.

Halvarssons: might be a bit over budget but the kit is pretty good. 2 year guarantee which is better than most other stuff unless you spend a fortune on Rukka.
I've got the Spartacus jacket and Strike trouser combo as recommended in Ride. Had them for about 18 months and they have been great.

I'm a Hein Gericke fan too. Good quality & well thought out gear. Recently replaced my old HG jacket with a new HG jacket.
They're always doing deals etc... I got 40% off a over Christmas...

Mine is IXS Gortex touring jacket bought from J&S accessories, worn daily all year round and still a great jacket. Only has a slight leak now if your in heavy rain for long periods. My other jacket used for best is also a IXS gortex jacket but not quite as a heavy as the older one and has no waist belt. Again a great jacket, seems like gortex is the thing to have in mine and most folks opinion

I've got a basic HG Sheltex jacket. Bit like this one:
http://www.hein-gericke.co.uk/clothing/motorcyle-clothing/jackets/hein-gericke-psx-race-tex-blouson-schwarz-grau.html
Hasn't been too bad, with the zip in liner, it's been plenty warm this winter. Waterproof-ness has been fine. Just the one time is was really coming down hard and I was out for an hour or so, the rain ran down my arms under my glove cuff and started to soak the trimming on the end of the arms of the jacket. Otherwise no leaks. In the summer the liner comes out and theirs vents under the arms, seemed alright, but I only got it for the tail end of last summer, and it wasn't super hot. Can be a bit tight around neck mind, especially if you've got a thick fleece and neck gater on. No sign of wear after 6 months use every day.
I paid about £120 in their sale last summer. Also picked up some slot in armour for the back too. Can't really moan for the price.

Frank Thomas dri viz here. Not tried any others to compare it with but am very happy with it. Removable lining, vents on chest, upper arms and lower back. Personally I like the hi viz element, tho it is starting to get dirty and fade. I would try to clean it but, hell, it's a motorbike jacket, it's meant to be dirty! The trousers that went with it at the time I bought look silly tho, with a wide hi viz stripe down the outter leg
On the down side the zip tends to get caught on the fabric sometimes, a little care takes care of that
