Oil filter tool for Gen1

(1/2) > >>

howardmoon:
Hi guys and girls,

I'm looking at buying a oil filter wrench of this type:

Anybody already know what size is needed for a Gen1?

Thanks, Paul

i have one of the cup ones and will dig it out once i get home if no one has sorted the size before me, fits well

I have a filter wrench , but as the filter is plastic, if its been put on very tight ...it may just spin on the plastic! It usually happens when I get a dealer to do the oil service...as I never crank my filters on tight .
If this happens...just have to resort to screwdriver through the body of the filter which I do hate to have to do!

ghostbiker:
Dug it out but dosent seem to have the size printed on it :(
