I took the time to make and test this template, fits perfectly.
Covers the brass coloured plate surrounding the rev counter and fuel guage.
Confirmed as fitting the FZS600 5DM 1998 standard instrument cluster. May or may not fit other models.
Get it here. (http://i.imgur.com/rdEIX79.jpg)

I'll be sending mine off to the printers with a sheet of that 4D carbon fibre-like vinyl which has the anti-bubble grooves on the reverse. You can, of course, use any adhesive-backed material you like. Just print/cut/trace/cut/apply.

Well done ------- good work. Only, odd that i too have 98 but without the tune folks logo, no matter as I will just amend the template

Turns out mine is a '99. That may explain it. Only realised/bothered looking recently.
The 1998 didn't have a silver colour option, which mine is, and that colour was introduced with the 1999/5DM4 model. Or so the internet tells me.

Do you still have the template?

Do you still have the template?
Hey. Sadly not. I looked everywhere i might have kept it. Actually odd that i don't. I'm usually quite good at keeping things, but probably didn't feel it important and deleted it as i haven't had the fazer for almost 2 years.
