May be he's using the money we didn't need to spend on our own recent and previous flood disasters because of all the aid that came generously flooding in (pun intended) from around the world
my very thoughts exactly.....those poor sods are still mopping up. India / China etc all previously poor countries now world class producers = let them bloody fork out from now on, we must be seen as right tw%ts amongst other EU countries. ` there they go look, sending out money they ain`t got and never will.....MUGS!!!! `

evening folks, just testing the water.......we all know how dear decals can be. well thanks to my new toy i am now able, amongst other things to produce the attached decals for the princely sum of £1.00 each plus p.p ( £2.60 a pair delivered ) cheapest i`ve seen on fraudbay is £4.00 and they are smaller !!. mine are 200mm x 40mm in black, white or silver (for now ) just need to gauge interest on this `ere forum as they have gone down well on other forums (not fazers obviously )"> i frequent...yes,bikes . payment will be through paypal if any and delivery approx 7 days. hope this is of benefit. please give me your suggestions too ( polite ones please ) cheers all. Going to be doing my first oil change soon, couple of quick (and probably stoopid) questions:
1) I'm in the habit of using copper grease on any bolts I remove. Should I grease the sump plug before I put it back in, or do I risk contaminating the oil? If so, copper grease or lithium grease?
2) Which way to turn the sump plug to undo? I've heard people say its the other way than usual because it's upside down, but that's confused me. Don't want to thread it.
3) Will an old washing up bowl be big enough for draining the old oil? Otherwise I'll go asda get cat litter tray.
Sorry if these are dumb, just building up confidence to do these jobs myself (managed to do brake pads successfully but had em checked by professional to be safe, he said all good!).
Thanks in advance, Andy
hey, first off they are not stupid questions...........better that than be a clever dick and balls it right up ! ok first off bowl should be fine, dont copper slip ( gets lubed with oil anyway to a certain degree and you dont want that one in particular to come loose !!! finally as you look at the bike, turn spanner counterclockwise ( to the left) to loosen. good luck mate.....take your time !!! my vote is with Tom sounds very much like release bearing ( most manual cars have the same noise to a certain degree ). wouldn`t lose sleep over it..........just ride it as normal and sort it if it gets really bad. does the clutch operate ok otherwise mate? cheers Ade
