Still don't see the real need, if you actually look after the stock caliper properly with a bit of TLC every now and then, then it's more than enough.

yeah coz what you want to do it the pouring rain or cold icy mornings is be hard on the front brakes!!!

With enough force on the front the rear will always lock wet or dry unless your just lightly pressing on it at which point its a waste of time using it. Been riding almost 30 years and never brought a set of rear brake pads.
