For Sale & Wanted / FZS1000 2005

Breaking whole bike, everything in perfect working order. See pictures

Tell me what part you are after.

The more I read about these the more I say to myself "how much better can it be ?"  I thought my own bike was pretty smooth and rolls on and off the throttle lovely. What I don't like is the splutter/stutter and blip of starting the bike with a bit of choke all the time. The kit stops all that.

I'm in Nottinghamshire NG17 so if someone close is willing to let me have a bimble before splashing the cash, I would be most grateful. Weekdays, weekend whatever as long as it's dry. No point testing in the wet !

Cheers.

For Sale & Wanted / Crash Bobbins FZS1000 Gen.1
« on: 08 June 2013, 09:39:35 pm »
I picked up two sets of these today, now as I only have the one FZS Gen 1 It seems daft to keep a spare (famous last words)

Both sets are red versions, and I've not had chance to get the old ones off the bike yet and replace with this much, much better set.

How's about £40 plus the P&P for them ? which going on the others I've just looked up on the net seems rather cheap (unless you know otherwise)
If you want me to open up the packet and take some pictures of the triangular plate and bolts included, drop me a message.

Marc

I'll probably turn my old ones down on the lathe and make some forks/swing-arm versions  :)

Introduction / Good morning from Nottinghamshire
« on: 06 June 2013, 06:33:48 am »
G-day folks, it's my first time on your forum, thought I'd better get on and see what I'm missing in the fazer world, since I've finally gotten hold of the 1000 I've been after for such a long time.
Trouble is I had to sell my other bike to get it  :\   Never mind, the Gen 1 is a damned more comfortable than a Blackbird.

First stop is the For sale and wanted, I need a rear hugger fitting to the bike, then yet another scottoiler  :rolleyes
