Yeah, I got an idea!  :lol

Well, I was going to head for Wales again tomorrow ( :rolleyes), but that's a bit far for some of you for just a day. Soooo.....

What about, meet somewhere near me (Oxford-ish) then down the A338 to Salisbury, then maybe to the south coast (Jurassic Coast area)? 338 is a cracking road  ;)

You wouldn't have to would you? If we effectively finish the ride on the south coast, couldn't you skirt London on the south on the way home?

Paul, the route I was thinking goes through Wantage, Hungerford and on down to Salisbury. All virtually due south from here, nowhere near as far west as Calne, so not so far for the London mob.

However, I'm not really a LoFo, so I'll leave the decision to you guys  :)

I do love a last minute plan and if it were next weekend I'd definitely be up for this.
However, Mr direct debit has just given me a severe battering this week so going to have to keep it more local to me I'm afraid. :\

Thats a shame dazzer  :\....midden , what you laughing at  :lol...are you in  ?......could meet at mine but a boring ride for anyone east of the city, or, and ive got my trusty map out now, meet up further south , parhaps dorking/box hill, then onto basingstoke  ( you watching bri h  ;)  )...newbury and meet up with crispy nick at hungerford......just an idea.....anyone else on route are more than welcome to join in  :).......with a few miles to cover an early start would be good, offer of meeting at mine still stands if it makes it easier, I'll see if I can find the instructions for the kettle   :rolleyes
