I got mine from these people. Had no problems with it, good value for money https://www.kmsdirect.co.uk/tools-equipment/liftingtools
Personally, I would prefer to have a scissor style bench to keep the floor space as those types are longer when down.
Something more like this:

I’ve never really got on with quickshifters and always find myself automatically rolling off a bit when doing clutchless upshifts, even when they’re fitted.
My Beemer however, doesn’t have one but I can still do upshifts smoother than on my wife’s VFR with a QS.

This maybe just because I ride mine more often and am therefore more ‘in tune’ with it. :)
The Beemer box is maybe a little more agricultural than most Jap boxes but it’s not bad.

For me it’d have to be....
1. An RC30. The seminal road racer when I was young.
2. An Edwards rep Mille. I had one when they first came out and I wish I still had it. Loved that bike.
3. The new R1250RS Beemer. This is probably going to be my next bike purchase, unless Santa brings me one first.  :lol

Update on Danny Kent. What a lucky boy, he's just signed for Morelli Racing in National 1000 Superstock for next season on a ZX10RR.
That’s good news. He’s a talented lad and deserves another chance as long as he’s sorted himself out.
Good to see someone’s got some faith in him. Good luck Danny.  :thumbup

Is that number plate in mid up-flip so you didn’t get done by speed cameras?  :lol

Yeah,the R20 or something was it ?
It’s the R18 concept, and they’re bringing the production version, the R18/2 to the NEC.

My mate’s got one and he loves it. Super smooth, fast, comfy and a great mile muncher.
He’s always had big sports tourer types, like the ZZR1400 (his last bike) and wanted to calm down a bit before he lost his licence or killed himself.
Unfortunately, it’s not really done the trick. He recently got pulled by an off duty Assistant Chief Constable for undertaking him on the M61 at 130mph.  :rollin Lucky bastard didn’t lose his licence either, just got a bollocking and an ASBO for 12 months.  :lol

people who are never ready to go at traffic lights when they change from red and get to green.
Yes, they’re usually in front of me in the outside lane when I’m in the car.  :rolleyes

I think you mean Alex. Sam can’t stay on a bike long enough to be 3rd.  :lol

Bloody roundabouts!
Since when has it become correct to have the right of way at a roundabout if you’re going straight across?
Mini roundabouts are the worst, many cars don’t even slow down at all on the approach as they think they’ve got right of way and can just carry on without giving way to anyone.  :wall

Cars who park on the opposite side of the road facing you with their headlamps left on full. Why don't they have the common sense to turn them to side lights. Can't see much past them.

No amount of main beam (in car) from me makes them realise -they either flash back or give you finger salutes. Happening more and more these days...Grrrrrrrrrrrr!
:agree
Me too  :agree

It would have been a great race though, mind you it was pretty good anyway.

Laser lite for me too.

I’ve tried lots of different ones over the years including recently trying some Pinlock ones. These were ok but I must have an odd shaped left lug hole because the plug keeps working it’s way out. They’re better with my intercom though as you can hear music and conversations clearer whilst keeping the wind noise down.
Shame they’re not fitting too well for me.  :rolleyes

Thanks for all the advice plug fitted clutch now working. haynes manual ordered. :D

You didn’t need to order a Haynes manual, they’re free to download here

Carole Nash were a joke for me. £920 for my BMW is what they quoted whereas I got it and my Triumph on one policy for £220 with Bennetts.
They weren’t the outright cheapest but best value policy.

This site on my iPad  :\
For some reason whenever I go back a page the screen resets to the top of the page rather than where I was, so I have to scroll down and find where I was again.
Foccing annoying it is, and it’s the only site that seems to do it to me.  :groan

Lets just hope it gives him the confidence to carry on doing it for the rest of the season, after a bit of a shaky start to the year.  :)

I wonder if it has something to do with controlling the risk on their books so they look and think they have too much of one risk and so hike the price up for it to cut down on the renewals for that risk, and if idiots take it out then that is ok too.
Could I please refer you to my earlier post  :lol

They’ve not done away with them, my missus’s 2018 VFR has them.
I find it just a force of habit that I turn them off on my bikes.
