From my first phone call with the solicitors I declared that I moved away on a yellow- I know legally this is not correct and there is no need to comment on that, the whole point of this is he blatantly lied about being stationary which is what screwed him.
If he was honest it would have gone to court and correct proportions of blame would have been upheld, but, thanks to the video evidence of his lies they had to settle out of court 100% in my favour!

Good result, pleased for you. Bet he didn't get done for fraud or perjury though, should have done.

It didn't get to court dazza, they settled beforehand, they had refused up until court proceedings were issued to watch the footage, it was only when they saw it they realised he'd fucked up!

He won't get done for fraud but his insurance company are well within their rights to get him to pay for my solicitors fees due to him lying - so, food for thought!

And yes, thanks to my amazing negotiation skills I persuaded my solicitors to get me a gopro 3 for the rights to the footage- win!

I have to say, it's 'only' the white edition but it's a bloody brilliant camera, will probably reduce in price now the '4' has been released!

Feel free to look up 'lampkin and co' on Facebook, I'm loving some of the comments made by people on the video footage-
My favourite talking about my riding is 'you can hear the brakes struggle to stop him'
The brakes weren't even applied so I don't know how he heard that!

My only concern it that as a Specialist Vehicle Injury lawyers they still call it an "RTA" when in fact accidents have been called "RTC" for several years now. Would of thought the lawyer would of known that.

Also can you edit the footage with a counter for the word  c**t?  :lol

Haha, good idea, although I'm not setup on the boat technology wise to do it, lol.
I thought he was going to have it edited but he said Naa, keep it in!

My finger has formed a loop from 11-13sec  :rollin

I know it's irrelevant but the author of the blog goes on about the dishonesty of 'the fkn cunt'  yet then claims the video clearly shows the lights changing???

Anyway good result..... Punkstig Ramsay  ;)

Yes lew, bike was paid out immediately to stop excess hire bike and storage charges with a letter claiming repayment if I was to be found at fault.

Damage to helmet and clothing paid for
1 week off work
And payment for superficial injuries (no broken bones)

Basically it coveted debts accrued to buy several replacement bikes -cb250rs cafe racer, Srad750, then current fazer,  plus it's payed for the solar panels on my boat.

I'm now awaiting repayment from insurance for 2 years overpayment on polices due to accident being down as 'fault' whilst being investigated and losing ncb at the time- it's confirmed as four figures which is nice, but again this will mostly be spent on the boat, although that new Rukka jacket is very tempting, lol

It's great to see a biker winning for a change.  Imagine if you never had the camera?

That's exactly the point of making this a public thing, not to discuss the rights or wrongs of the accident but more that people are lying cunts!

This is why we have insurance, so we don't personally pay out thousands of pounds damages and compo, so why lie about it?
To save £50 on next year's premium?

Top stuff! Glad you came out on top in the end. I can certainly sympathise, as I'm still battling it out with a claim from Sept 2013. Unfortunately no camera at the time, 3rd party also a lying cunt and somehow magic'd a witness out of thin air... Going to be a tough one. Court proceeding just been filed, waiting to see if they actually defend now... Been wearing a camera ever since though.

Rukka stuff is well worth it. I reckon 90% of their sales come from insurance payouts!

I Had a bike written off by a taxi driving straight into the back of it. While stationary in the middle of the lane and allowing a pedestrian to cross at a zebra crossing. While the other side accepted full liability it still took 3 years to settle the injuries element of the claim which were considerably less than £10k but from which I will suffer for the rest of my days...You have my every sympathy mate. And yes the taxi driver was a 'c@n7'
