General / PETITION!!!« on: 18 February 2014, 07:48:41 pm »
Hi Guys.
I have just cut n pasted this from the Explorer forum. I received this from John Mitchell National Chairman/South East Region Representative of the Motorcycle Action Group earlier today: You may have heard about the death of Jade Clark, a 16-year-old who was killed when she was hit by Brian Hampton, on the A31 while on her moped travelling to work in February 2013. Banned for drink-driving at the time, Hampton not only didn’t stop, but he then attempted to cover up his involvement by having his car repaired and lying to his family. He was sentenced to six years in prison – two for causing Jade’s death by careless driving and four years for perverting the course of justice. He has now decided to appeal his sentence because he thinks it too severe. MAG thinks he should be locked up and the key thrown away. This petition was created by Robert Parker when he heard the news. So far it has just over a thousand signatures which is not enough. It needs 10,000 to get noticed; and 100,000 to get to the point where it can’t be ignored. I would like to see it get that 100,000 signatures. Every signature counts. You’ll find it at http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/56314 Feel free to sign or not as you see fit...personally, I've signed it although I think jail is too good for him. 4

I beg to differ a our lens these days this was taken with my Sony z 12m sensor had expensive Nikon gear sold it all foe a Sony 18m mini camera as lugging all the Nikon gear spoiled the art of taking a shot and with hdr and lightroom facilities don't need a big camera

I'm only 43 so pension will be roughly worth nothing as government keeps putting up retirement age

Sorry but there was a vacant normal space there at the side of me after I had parked up and some people have left work, he could have moved it there instead of ranting he could see we were getting ready to move and when his wife came out ranting made it even longer to wait for them hehe

The other night I had a run in with a disabled driver on private/public car park at a local royal mail sorting office during the day this car park is for public use and at night it's used by the post sorters for quick access to work, this night the car park was full accept the disabled spot so I parked there so I didn't cause an obstruction as it was clocking out/in time for the workers, I was there to pick my partner up so while she was getting her gear on a iterate so called disabled driver started shouting are ya gonna move or what I said calmly in a minute ,minute later his partner came out saying the same things and have I got a disabled permit to park there which I said I had one, which she replied if next time your parked there and you havent got ya permit (how the he'll can ya show it on a bike) they'll block me in so I can't move, I'm not disabled but have they got a right to demand the parking spot when the carpark is full?
