Well, I thought if you were 3 parts pissed, in the dark and squinting badly, it looks a bit like Rossi's M1 colours!  :lol

Be safe, be seen! It's deadly commuting on the A2 in the dark of winter, I nearly pulled out of a lane filtering into another bike coming up behind me, all I could see in the mirrors was white head lights. Thought, people will see bloody yellow headlights coming though! (it works! but you can take them off, they're only velcroed on)

HI there! Must be the time of year or something...

Anyhoo, it's time to let my Fazer 600
Faz2
Faz1
go, it's had an exciting life, commuting from home to London every day for the last 6 years and the occasional track day, advanced rider test thrown in!

It's got about 82,000 miles on the clock, engine is sound as a pound, regular oil and filter changes carried out by yours truly since 2011. It was in the shop at 60,000 miles and had the valve clearances done, no adjustment required. The bottom of the rear shock bearing has been changed as it was getting worn, new front wheel bearings fitted also. It's got heated grips and a data tool alarm. Back tyre's good, front has a 1000 miles or so left in it.

What it needs: The front brake discs are getting a bit worn and will also need new pads.

MOT's till January. Other then the discs it will pass another MOT (IMO)

Anyway, £500 or nearest offer, buyer collects, I'll give it a wash...

+1 for the stop and go but I also have an Air Man 12v compressor on board after a front wheel puncture in France 160 miles from Calais...

We were in the Vosges Mountains when a rear puncture was repaired by a stop and go and it was faultless

Replaced the front wheel bearings, now steers and brakes much more predictably!

All I know is: I enjoy riding my Foxeye more than my VFR 12... (no, really)

In fact I'm keeping the Foxeye, selling the Viffer and getting a MT-09 Tracer to replace it

FZS600 Fazer / Re: Fuel tank range?
« on: 07 January 2016, 07:40:28 pm »
I'm getting up to 230 before the fuel light comes on... last fill was 18.5L (commuting)

I thought it was a 23L tank on a Foxeye (02)

Anyway, better than 120 miles on my VFR12 before the light comes on!!

I took mine round Brands a couple if years ago on a Kent Fire bike day, great fun.

Especially passing a Gixer and BMWR1000s round the outside on Clearways... oh yes!

Seen it in the flesh at the bike show and it looks way better than the pics

(and had a big crowd lining up to have a sit on it)

Would like a test ride when it comes out

Stuck yellow head light covers on, very Valentino!

(and works well in the dark night commutes...)

DON'T waste money on expensive iPods. Simply think of your favourite tune and I hum it. If you want to "switch tracks", simply think of another song you like and hum that instead.[/size]

« on: 21 August 2014, 01:59:33 pm »
Funny that, I got 16000 out of my rear 023... it's well shagged though!

When I changed the front 023 last time I put a T30 front on and the bloody thing squared off in 4000 miles!

Most of my milage is done comuting

I'll be sticking another 023 on the front when it's done and replacing the shagged 023 on the back with another one
