Title: Some South American Fazers
Post by: Farjo on 03 May 2015, 07:47:37 pm
Not a very common sight, but saw these three on my travels. I think that they are all 150cc engines. Generally they have the title "Midship" and are faired, the non-fared being of the FZ name.

I guess this one's been street fightered:

I know there's a lot of snobbishness about these bikes (especially on the Facebook Fazer sites), but I reckon they're quite funky looking machines. Kinda like them.  :)

The third pic looks very similar to the YBR 250 which is made in Brazil. Yamaha tried importing some around 2009/10-didnt sell many in UK. I bought one 2009-a nice little bike for commuting-albeit only about 22bhp. Very economical and would shift if you wrung its neck!
The Fazer 150 is a big seller in the Indian market and looks like a good little machine.
Most of the bike owners/riders in developing countries are more than happy to get personal mobility and wouldnt be worrying about "facecrap" entries! :lol
