You need to get it sorted or your premiums will rocket . Remember the question they ask "Have you ever had insurance cancelled?"
Hope the broker gets it sorted ASAP. If not, his pain is the right response 4685

If you cant cook a roast dinner there's something wrong with you.
Seriously though, something simple, pop into Iceland and look in the freezer cabinets for something you like the look of, pick up the type of veg etc frozen too as well as the spuds and desert. Read instructions and tell kids to help. You cant go wrong but it won't be as good as something cooked properly. 4686

Some swear by the conversion but I did the HID route on my 99 boxeye. Great lights. Look at the thread in Hints and Tips from Gnasher. HIDS4U do a great kit.
Some on here (GarethG for one) did the Foxeye conversion then changed back to a boxeye with HIDS. Personally I prefer the look of the foxeye. 4696

If it fails, you can still ride home.
I am not 100% sure about the expiry thing. My personal view is that you have a piece of paper in your hand with the later expiry date on it so it's only if plod give you a tug because "Computer says No" that you would have a potential problem. I say potential, as you can show them the previous MOT with the exiry date 3-4 weeks into the future. Add to that the fact that you rarely ever see plod on the road, you will be fine. 4697

IIRC the rules around unexpired MOT's has changed a bit now that its all computerised.
If your MOT is due to run out on the 23rd April, you can take it in today and the new one (if it passes) will be valid till 23rd April 2015 as previously stated. However, if it fails, it has no MOT rather than a month left as the system only takes into account the latest test. |
