Exupnut, if you are happy with the bike as it is then enjoy, if you want more power and a faster better bike then look into the full monty kit, you can fit yourself but do need some mechanical knowledge, as said have a chat with Mike aka falcon he is the main man and a demigod really when it comes to this sort of modification, or check out Pats site I will post a link for you. http://www.cartestsoftware.com/fz1/

I would not worry to much about the mismatch the front is a stickier tyre and its usually the rear we all lose, but if you have the funds then replace them both, the rosso is a good tyre and you would not go wrong with a set of them, but lots of set ups to choose from and every owner here will have some input on this subject. I always ran pirelli,s but each to there own.

what does the carbs tuned to can by last owner mean ? maybe it is already running stage 1 ivans kit , but you will do no harm fitting the k@n but will gain nothing unless you have the full monty work done.

great bike to get back on the saddle with but mind you do not get a ex despatch one as they are popular with couriers, still remember mine with fond memories.
