where to go next....any ideas lofos.........................................

fitted one of those ACUMEN horns last night,advertised as being very loud ,i think 130 db,bit disappointed with the sound and its not as loud as i would like...would be more at home on my grandaughters tricycle 

riding back from work yesterday i saw a sports bike rider coming the other way......trainers , shorts and a helmet.....nothing else 
 
 
thats going to hurt when he comes off 

morning fazer fans,just two weeks to go untill the brum bike meet,we need to decide where and when to meet and also plan a route...iam not a fan of motorway riding ,a-roads would be good..anyone want to be road captain for this one ?

had an eye test on saturday and it now looks as if i will have to wear glasses while iam on my bike,just used them for reading and close up work untill now......so any wearers out there with any tips...ie,is a certain helmet better than another,do i put my helmet on and then the glasses...silly questions i know but not been in this situation before.....not had my present helmet long and it is still a very snug fit will this affect the fit of the frames ?..........any tips would be most helpfull

first sunday in april will be the 7th a week after easter and we shall be in british summer time so bring your shades and lotion its going to be a hot one  .....no thongs please EXUPNUT 


 two rides under our belts, east to sarrrrrrffffend and south to dungeness,to follow the water theme i thought we would go west and follow the course of the thames....could meet at the ACE or beconsfield services on the m40 jct 2,next junction on from m25


plenty of parking at beconsfield with lots of room to repair punctures or hunt for lost keys and gloves........


so the route..........


A40..........................high wycombe ( my home town )
A404........................marlow (first two crossings of the thames once on the bypass and the other via marlows susspension
                                bridge   
A4155......................henly following the thames,first stop for toilets for you older foccers who cant control your bladders
                               (trying to please everyone)
A321........................over the thames at henley and onto wargrave
A4............................onto B478 just to get another crossing of the thames at sonning
A415 .......................caversham and reading and another crossing
A 329.......................purley,pangbourne,goring and wallingford for our 6th crossing of the day
A4074......................benson,shillingford and dorchester on thames,bikers cafe here where you can get a 
                                bite to eat ,if your a student theres plenty of free parking  (still trying to please everyone )

think thats got to be about half a days riding with a few stops,from dorchester we could go up to the dreamy spires at oxford but i would have to do a dry run as dont know oxford too well and then parhaps out towards aylesbury,wendover gerrards cross and back on the m/a 40 back into the hussle and bussly of london.........bit long winded i know and for some reason my text has gone small..........

feedback please foccers good or bad or any changes that we could make

looking at the london foccers meet pictures,i noticed we are all in black no high viz or reflective strips etc...coming back through central london on the way home(it was dark by now) and then out the other side on the a40 and a very busy m40 .filtering at 50/60mph,headlight on,i got the impression cagers were not seeing me until i was along side,   so ive come over all iam`ish and thinking about getting myself a high viz.........your thoughts please foccers

just re-newed my insurance on my 600 fazer............£72...........oh the joys of being old,and still as quick as a spotty teenager   

big ride out on the thou......whitby the furthest north i went 

just come back from a long road trip.1400 miles in five days,and i now have a rattle on the bike.....fine in netural put it in gear with clutch in and still ok ,let clutch out and start to move and the rattle starts,it sounds like something is loose as not in time with the speed of the engine......not had time to look yet but was thinking loose front sprocket or maybe cclutch problem ?...................is there and common faults with the thou i should check first
