Ah good old Wikipedia. I once read that Steven Seagull had been murdered by his best friend with an axe a while ago but oddly enough he's brought out a film or two since :P>

Washed all the muck of 1200 miles in Wales and playing around between Oxford and Chippenham off. Rode to Cirencester on a nearly bald rear tyre, front not much better, in showers, wet & greasy roads. £236 and 2 new PR2s later, rode back again, roads still a bit slippy, and now got to wash it again. One of my least favourite conditions today - don't you just hate that fine spray from all the oncoming traffic, mixed with splatted flies on the visor, so you can't wipe the spray off or you'll just smear all the flies... And somebody tell me, why is it that as soon as you do clean your visor, the biggest, juiciest fly heads directly for it, splat! right in your line of vision?!
Hahaha. Tell me about it! So inconsiderate those flies :P Sounds like a good ride anyhow mate! What did I do? I got wet going to work. Arse!

Good stuff. Just what I was after except for one thing. I'm after a full luggage setup. Has anyone got any advice on what to get. I know the cases well enough but it is the fixings I'm not sure about. Any help would be greatly appreciated

You can guage it by ducking your head down a few inches and see if it gets any noisyer, likewise raising yourself up off the saddle and see where the clean/quiet air is. Give it a go, and it might help you decide on what you need. Good luck:
Actually hadn't thought of doing that! I'm tempted to invest in a much higher screen. Will try bobbing up and down on the way home. Ta for the tip

That it was. Feel like I might need to clear something up - she was snoring! The oil change was what chuffed me up the most though, as for the last week or so the gears (particularly 1st and 2nd) were running rough. I put some crappy Halfords own 5w-40 oil in and since then not been running well. So put some Castrol 10w-30 in and ran sweet as a nut (that was the reason for the second rideout). Mind you the missus doing her own thing today was a bit of a bonus lol

The missus woke me up at 5 am, so hopped on my bike and headed to Whitstable in Kent, then headed back for a nice ride along the A28 then the A251 back to Faversham. Then proceeded to clean and polish followed by an oil change, then a second ride out for 30 miles or so. Really got the bug back again now - just in time for winter!

Haha, that's brilliant. I'm trying to persuade the missus to let me spend my pennies on some luggage. I think this might just sway the argument!
