Breaking Fazer 1000 *edit to include prices*
« on: 11 November 2014, 03:31:18 pm »
Hi, had to reregister after being away so long (bought an R1) Anyway my old man just dropped his 53 plate Fazer and this insurance are writing it off!

Starts runs and most parts available, low speed slip on bend crash bungs did there job but most plastics damaged during recovery done thousand miles or so since as streetfighter-ish

Hugger (redfox blue colour matched) £40

Forks (serviced less than 2k) £150 (provisionally sold)

Yokes together or separate ???

Engine starts and runs perfectly smooth, few scuffs (I mean scuffs not scrapes) to casings but better than most for sale on eBay! can be heard running 45k but smooth and powerful perfect replacement or kit car use £450

Ohlins rear shock with separate preload adjuster not the lesser model £350

GYTR handlebar risers replace standard risers and lower handlebars an inch or so - very rare! £50

Renthals £15

MDA Vario screen (wider double bubble version in dark smoke) £35

EBC uprated clutch spring (new unused) £20 posted

Tank has small ding and scuffs but very usable/repairable ???

All running gear brakes, electrics, frame (cat b) and anything else you might need present

Clocks very usable and look fine from front but have super glued one of the fixing posts back on (and done 200 miles since)

is listed on ebay also and ill be adding pics on there unless some nice fellow can walk me through doing it on here?

Cat b the turds! Just spitefull as he rode it back from Spain after we roadside street fightered it! But they said its to cover them if there was unseen frame damage blah blah

Had lots of interested in shock £350 as it's the better one with adjustable preload etc very clean

Have video of bikè running but no pics as yet will upload ASAP thanks for your patience :)

If it's not too much trouble could I get you to throw a ruler over the bar risers and tell me the spacing of the mounting bolts to the top triple? :)

Would you sell the fuel sender unit which is inside the tank.

If so, how much posted to Ireland?
