I forgot about the new intor section - well Im Old Mother Foccer (started off as miss hornet - but the years have not been kind ) Married to Deefer the fazer mechanical whizz I own and run http://www.fatmaggot.com and can been seen at most big biking events across the UK own Benny the fazer - a proper one with carbs, we have not been out for a while as 2 knee operations in quick succession have made me stay off the bike, i also still have harry my hornet and an unnamed (as yet) trike

can you tell if it sounds wheel related or from the handlebar/screen/ top end ?? might be a warped disk, or something loose in the brake area on the front wheel, pop it up on the main stand and have a good wiggle of everything

I depends which blue spot caliper it has to be from a fazer thou, which again is not the same as the R1 R6 or XJR so as you say it needs a slight amout removing, but care must be taken on which blue spot you buy

you have a Fazer engine that shares some gearbox components with a thundercat, It was never a "detuned" sports bike engine, which is the common misconception, it was an engine designed for the fazer

why not just use "carb-engined Fazers 1998-2003"
