Sounds like you will be doing what I will be doing, checking everything connected with ignition and carbs! You mention that it is like the choke is on, my choke was sticking on last year when the inner cable had frayed, a new one off ebay for a tenner solved it.

I had one on my Kawasaki ZRX1100, it made a lovely noise even with the baffle in and looked as good as new when I sold the bike 3 years later.

It has been used at least once every two weeks over winter doing about 60 miles each run out. The symptoms have only appeared on the last two rides, this Sunday and a week ago. The mileage is just over 22000 miles. I will check the exup this coming weekend. Thanks for the feedback.

Plugs and filter were changed six months ago. No mods done except for Akrapovic end can which has been on for 18 months. With gradual throttle I can redline in first three gears, not tried other gears as I would need a nice quiet road for that.

If I accelerate hard once I hit about 9000 revs the engine misfires really badly and I have to back off, its ls very pronounced misfire. I have changed the fuel filter but it made no difference. If I accelerate normally there is no misfire. Am I right in thinking that my exup valve needs adjusting?

I went out for a couple of hours, roads were packed with cvclists and bikers. Found out I need a new back tyre!

When replacing your fuel filter remember to turn the petrol tap to off. I have actually done this twice.

I normally offer returns, and a full compliment of highly rated customer service is available to you, including free returns, if you would like to order from www.roadrashjeans.com. Otherwise, please feel free to pop up and see me and you can try on every pair I have if you wish. I will even make you a cuppa . Another option is for you to physically measure yourself and PM me your exact size. I will try and find you something.
Thanks for the offer but its a bit far from Leeds!

What do you do if I order a pair and they do not fit? I would like some 36W but I find some jeans/trousers in that size are sometimes too big or too small.

I bought my gen 1 1000 from them 5 years ago, got a decent trade in on my ZRX1100. No problems at all with bike since then. But I do know they have close links with Webuyanybike people, they have an outlet on the same trading estate. I was round there about two years back with a mate looking around for another bike and there were 5 bike dealers just on that small trading estate!

I play BF3 on PS3, usually as support because I like to use a machine gun with lots of ammo and blowing tanks and people up with C4.. I have just ordered BF4 and looking forward to wasting a lot of hours getting my butt kicked.

just looked at these and noticed the "windjammer" anyone used one ?
I bought one a few years back, it reduced wind noise quite a bit but I found that as you move your head around it slowly came off the bottom of my helmet.

I`m sure there was a guy on here that had fitted some of a Kawasaki GT750, anyone else remember?
PS. Why am I stuck at work for a 12 hour shift when the sun is shining? The weather gods hate me!

A few years ago my wife had an minor accident in her car and the other guy claimed on her insurance. I renewed my bike insurance as usual and about two weeks later I got a letter of them saying I had not declared an accident and would have to pay another £23 or I would be refused insurance. Not a good thing! When I rang them they said it was because I was a named driver on my wifes insurance policy! I had no choice but to pay up. So always declare anything and everything because they do check up on people on a regular basis.

I have the same cam. Two problems I have found with it are in poor light the picture is very poor and the recording time sometimes seem to vary by as much as half an hour, even though I make sure it is fully charged before use and the sd card is formatted.
