Sharing a few pics of the eclipse I took this morning. I was ducking and diving through the clouds but got there in the end. You'll have to scroll bar at the bottom to see all the top picture

Some say that he eats habanero chilli peppers dipped in oil of capsaicin for extra bite and that his pyjamas are made from Nomex. All we know is, he's called Ad the Bad

Awesome pics fella,  :thumbup I got up for a p1ss at half 3 and couldn't resist having a look myself.
Lets hope most of us are around to witness the next one, apparently it's not due till 2033.

Fantastic pictures, thanks for sharing.

TBH I woke up to what I thought was a double eclipse but it just turned out to be my Mrs fat arse sliding over my chest to turn the alarm off
Complete fabrication, I didn't make it up!

no where near as good but i was up also and had a little go.
first one was taken from the rear lawns showing the southern wing of sharp hall

Turned to the left and I also had ago at the nebula thing in orion's sword above the stable block of sharp hall
Its surprising how far the stars move during 10 or 30 seconds
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.

Fazersharp. That first pic isn't that bad. I've seen worse on photo forums.

Cheers never done it before just checked and it was f11 10th second 1250 iso
looking at yours at 1/2 second showing no transition my movement must be my wobble
I did photoshop to get the building out of the blackness of the sky and the image is cropped down about as much as the nebula one

Here's the full low down from the EXIF data: R-L
Shot 1: F/9, 1/1400sec, ISO-800, -0.7 step.
Shot 2: F/8, 1/400sec, ISO-2000, -0.7 step.
Shot 3: F/8, 1/400sec, ISO-3200, 0 step.
Shot 4: F/8, 1/3200sec, ISO-3200.
Shot 5: Same as 4.
Shot 6: Same as 4.
Shot 7: F/8, 1/20sec ISO-5000.
Shot 8: F/8, 1/15sec, ISO-5000.
Shot 9: F/8, 1/4sec, ISO-5000.
Shot 10: F/8, 1/2sec, ISO-6400.
Shot 11: F/8, 1sec, ISO-6400.

All the shots had some kind of adjustment in Adobe Camera RAW for balancing in the combined image and then finer tweeking in Photoshop. These are just 11 of the 100+ images shot. Shooting was by the seat of the pants and checking in camera before making adjustments and re-shooting. Digital cameras make it a lot easier than the old days of film. You couldn't open up the back to check if your photo was going to come out.
