No worries. I've got your postcode but you might want to remove it as this is a public forum where people can now see your address details.

Perfect time of the year for these. These are the Storm 22mm single point fitting version. I had these on my 2004 FZS1000 for about 500 miles then sadly sold the bike. Reading through they fit from 2001-2005. There are a couple of marks on them via storage as hindsight been a brilliant thing, I should have fully dismantled them and put them back in the original packaging. No cracks or splits. Ideally cash on collection and from nr Basingstoke, north Hampshire. £65

Mine came with a Scorpion end can but luckily enough it had a removable baffle which still seems quiet out compared to my last bike. Maybe in time I'll put it back in when I get older. I'd like mine to be a bit louder so if you find one then let me know

Could someone do me the favour of providing a link - preferably on amazon. My headlights are both dipped/full beam and I'd be looking to change the sidelights as well. There's so many out there that I want to make sure I get the correct ones. Thanks.

Sorry for the later reply. Thanks for the offer Geowulf but I ordered some bungs in the end.
Ogri, if you could do please. I'm not sure if it's my imagination but the FZS seems to have the smallest foot print on a side stand I've ever had.

1. MRA screen is cr4p so would like another one - I had the Yamaha touring screens on my previous FZ1's that were fine so what is that equivalent? I have the standard screen but not tried it yet but to be fair can't see it been any better.
2. Crash bungs

Would also consider a sorted Gen 1 as well that fits into the my 1st post criteria. Preferably not silver and ideally red with black engine but open to WHY.

Very nice. I've found myself looking at these recently and they looked reasonably priced. I was originally on the hunt for a latter FZ1s but can only really find (local to me) a standard 10 plate done 9k for £4250 which seems like what you originally put about the six values.
I know yours don't have the screen on them but any idea what there like with one? Am I right saying there 5 speed as well?

Also what didn't you like about the z1000sx? That's a bike I seriously considering as the next upgrade from my Fz1
It was a 63 plate sx. I didn't like the dash layout, the way the chain adjusts, short servicing intervals, the wind blast and short gearing. They're all minor points apart from the wind blast that maybe would change with different screen.
Ah right, I'm looking at a 2017+ model with all the electronics etc I've not looked into servicing I intervals but as I only do about 3-4 miles a year I cant see it being an issue. And what's up with the chain adjustment and gearing? I have noticed the odd looking adjusters?
2017+ is fine mate as the service intervals were increased and mpg went from 39 to 49, apparently and after 2014 they had adjustable TCS and 2 power modes? In fact all years were fine and even with the one I rode - the gear ratio felt too close if that makes sense? It wasn't them, it was me. As for the chain adjustment - it looks odd as fuck, plus I like a centre stand as it makes life so much easier. Don't get me wrong it went well, rode well, handled well and looked mighty fine - it just wasn't for me. Hence my search for an FZ1s.

A mode was the best bit about it

I had a tracer 900 for 2 years, loved it. Suspension wasn’t the best and took a lot to dial out the gremlins, but the new GT version has decent fully adjustable stuff and it’s fully sorted. If I had the money I’d have the GT version
I had a 15 plate MT09 Tracer that I owned for about 6/7 months before the 10. The engine was a peach and the best bit about it although the fueling made the throttle more like a switch but you could ride around it. It didn't fair up too well between Oct to March and I was forever changing nut's and bolts that had furred up. Standard screen was pants and even an aftermarket, I think it was a Givi wasn't much better. Great on fuel but the upright riding position killed me and the standard seat meant going straight from a ride out to the Chiropractor. I never experienced any of the high speed wobble that some complained of.

Makes sense. Just wondered what made you let the mt10 go? Didn’t you like it or is it too expensive?
Loved the performance, built quality a bit meh and matt paint a pain if it gets scratched, engine was an absolute peach. I bought it well specced at a good price and sold it with minimal loss, which helped but I knew somewhere along the line I would take a hit on it, like most bikes. Not expensive as I done a fair few k's of miles. Mainly I fancied a change which happens about 18/24 months with me.

I guess I've got a soft spot for them. I've had 3 fazers to date and they're pretty good all round bikes. I did look at a low mileage FZS1000 but it was very standard, nor cheap compared to some decent spec ones with changed shocks, cans, etc with higher miles.
The FZ1s is something that I like and know quite well. I tried recently a Z1000sx, CBF1000 and a GSXS1000F.
