Depending on how it's been laying, may need to check/bleed the brakes.

Don't forget to get your 25% discount
Right guys, rang up HEL and they said that they'd be more than happy to offer a 25% discount for their hoses and all other parts for us, so if anyone wants brake hoses, or any other braking related parts that they do, then give them a ring direct on +44 (0)1392 811 601, let them know that you're a member of the Fazer Owners Club forum, and then order your bits, and you'll get the discount! General / Re: Halfords Professional Socket sets« on: 04 November 2013, 01:14:55 pm »Keep the receipt though. I seem to remember reading somewhere that this is the guarantee, not like leatherman where they just replace it no quibble. Photocopy/scan the receipt as the original will be blank within a year. 60

From the numerous other stories reporting cars driving without lights and at 'normal' speed, a timely reminder of the approaching winter and the need to drive/ride according to the conditions. Stay safe out there people. 63
Events, Meets, Ride outs etc / BSB Cadwell« on: 23 August 2013, 07:36:53 pm »
Anyone going?
I'll be there Sunday and Monday as part of the medical team providing First Aid for the crowd. Hopefully we won't be too busy so I can watch some racing as well. We have two sites (and a trade stand for LIVES, the charity we volunteer with), one opposite the paddocks (I'll be there Sunday morning & Monday afternoon) and the other by the trade stands at the bottom of the Mountain (Sunday afternoon and Monday morning). Hopefully won't have to meet any of you professionally, but feel free to pop in and say hi (I'll be the tall skinny one with the pony tail). 64
General / Re: Blue side lights, legal? Discuss...« on: 18 August 2013, 12:32:28 pm »As long as it doesn't flash and only shows to the front, it's legal. If it is a filament lamp rather than an LED it should be E marked. See http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/1989/1796/regulation/11/made Or maybe not http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/1989/1796/regulation/16/made 66

A few years back I was in a car approaching a bend . Stupid driver attempted an overtake as a bike appeared round the corner. I braked, but so did the other driver. I then stopped braking to allow the car to drop in behind and received a gesture that definately wasn't a foccer salute from the biker and a blast of horn and full beam from the car. Once the bike was clear and we were round the bend, car overtook and then slammed on his brakes (I had anticipated this and backed off accordingly), before driving off , offering a gesture of his own out the window 75
