Hi,
My bike was involved in an accident about a month ago. The dozy woman at work reversed her car in to my bike, knocking it over. The damage was mainly the pillion footpeg hanger and my front fairing. I have bought a replacement fairing for my bike and its now fitted (minus stickers). I was going to offer my old one up to the forum, no cash just postage costs, if it helps? The fairing is Gold or Deepish Yellow Red as Yamaha call it, its a Boxeye 99 model. I will post pictures of the damage when I get a chance, its not at mine just now. I also need to use it to make sure i get my stickers lined up correct. There is a patch of deep scratching at the front along with a broken infill clip, I have all of the clip so might be possible to plastic weld? I had it glued before.
Would there be any interest in this? If not I'll be binning it or see if any other forums have use for it.
Cheers

Somebody at work has knocked my FZS600 over. I have her contact details.
Should not cost to much to put right, might be better to do it without the insurance?

Hey Guys,
I am just after a guide to the tyre pressures for Michelin Road 3's for an FZS600. I weigh about 12 stone probably nearer 12.5 with gear on. I was told by the place that supplied the tyres the pressures are 36psi front and 41psi in the rear, seems quite a lot to me?
Also would it be better to have tyre at correct PSI through winter, or would loosing a couple of PSI be better?

Hi,
I bought some after market FZS1000 mirrors to replace the rubbish ones on the Mark 1 (Square Eye) FZS600. Unfortunately these have corroded on the inside and are no longer useable.
Does anyone have any spare OEM mirrors they don't need?

I am looking for a rear rack for my FZS600 1999 Model, preferably in Black.
Have followed a few ebay auctions lately but these 2nd hand racks seem to be going for near enough the price of a new one. I am not that fussed on the condition as my bike is hardly pristine and is used in all weathers and seasons.
Cheers

What a race in Moto 2, great last lap battle with Pol and Marquez.
Not sure what's happening with the Brits though, Smith was talking of winning Moto2 title before moving to Moto GP, really can't see that happening, he'll struggle to win a race i think. Redding qualified well but did not have the tyres for full race??

Bike failed MOT on Yesterday.
Front brakes binding to excess. Had both Calipers off, cleaned up and all seems to be good but the front wheel does still seem to stick, maybe not as bad but i have to take it back for Monday Re-Test?

Woke this morning in Edinburgh to very high winds, first thought is always the bike, never blown over before but so paranoid. Well today my paranoia turned in to a sense of unhappiness, my bike had blown over in the wind. The news said there was gusts clocked at 102mph in Edinburgh.
