Mine didn't come with the bike. I had to buy them, but I wouldn't have paid £10 for them. I would have got them from one of the classic bike shows in all probability.
It's a bit gutting to think that they were free to pick up in the showroom at the time, but how else do you get hold of them now other than paying?. Just imagine how many were thrown out/recycled in January when the new ranges come out

Nice things to have if you intend to hang on to the bike long term. They're much sought after by those restoring classic machines such as Z1's/H1's/etc...
They usually have a part number and are thus considered almost essential
