I've been looking at exhausts for my Fazer 1000 (03), difficult to know which one to buy as I don't want one thats going to give me a headache but at the same time I don't want spend a load of £ for one thats not loud enough  :\ ! The Fuel exhausts do look great value for money though!

The exup on the thou kills a lot of noise .I tried a viper race can on both my fazers , I could live with it on the thou but on the 600 instant head ache
Ive settled on a quill can on my thou , no different noise wise to standard

It is if you remove the DB Killer  :rolleyes
Still haven't got around to flogging my Titanium Quill if anyone fancies it.

If your thou is not Ivanised , I would not bother changing to a race can as it will kill mid range!

That wasn't my experience when I fitted my Fuel can prior to having the bike Ivanised.

from what I have read it depends on what can you fit, a short can will kill the midrange where a long one wont

My Scorpion can, a long one, with baffle in is about the same as the standard can noise and performance wise. With the baffle removed, it pulls a lot harder from mid to high revs. Guess which state it's in now!

I would contact Mike G /Falcon 269 for  definitive advice I was warned that a race can would kill mid range (no ivanise) and it did!
