Hiya fellow FOC-er's, Could someone help me out please, I really fancy a Fazer 1000 , but the entry I have to use to safely store my bike is quite narrow, my 600 fazer just goes down, Is it possible to cut a small amount off of each end of the 1000's bars ,so it will fit , if so will it have any effect on the handling.?. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Rivett

Hi Karlo, The inside is very smooth ,so I would have thought some kind of plastic , I roughed the surface to take the fibreglass and it will need some filler on the outside , so I think a sealer will be required.

Hi guys, I thought I'd add my bit, We went to the 50th anniversary fly past at the Lady bower dam in 1993 and what a spectacle that was , as been said the sound is out of this world the Lancaster a Spitfire , Mosquito , Tornado's and a C 130 Hercules did the fly past , incredible . Also if you happen to pass this place http://www.lincsaviation.co.uk at East Kirkby, I highly recommend a visit ,just check opening times on their web page though, NX 611 on view and also some aviation displays to look at. Promise I'm not connected with them at all , but just a good place to go. Regards Rivett

Good mod mate, Is everything in with the price, or do you have to purr-chase any other bits, relay's and the like ? . Any thing is good to make people aware that you are there .

To be honest Simonm, that's the horn I've got, yesterday I tried all day to find a place for it ( on the bike that is ),eventually I gave up ,kicked next doors cat and put the golf horn on, There's no space you can seem to put it .God knows how much I've spent on cable and fuses and stuff. I'll have another go soon, Cheers Bud

Hiya Guy's, Could some one help me out please, I've changed the horn of my 2001 Fzs 600,the one I've put on is off a volksvagon golf, now what's concerning me ,Is that the golf horn might be drawing more power than the wiring harness can manage, I've used the horn with the lights on, with no dimming of the lights or different note from the engine. Any help would be appreciated. thanks Rivett .

Hiya Folks, A newbie here, just bought me first Fazer, last bike was a zzr 600, but due to age (mine ) and aching joints she's got to go, always liked the Fazer so now I've got one, 2001, 600. Got her today (Monday 30th),spent most of the day fettling her up , no doubt I'll be on here asking questions, so stand by. Live long and prosper regards Rivett
