« on: 20 March 2017, 07:12:58 pm »
Check your routing of cables/wires etc then if okay check your free of throttle using manual. Be sure to check adjustment of cables at carb end as if you don't have it adjusted there correctly you will get sticking and slow throttle operation. If done all that then maybe cables them self oil/replace

What pads did you have in darris? What mileage did you get out of them?
I personally have no problems with ebc brakes used on many cars, quads and crossers and been happy with them but hey that's me! Everyone will have different circumstances and views!

For me EBC is a top good quality brand making braking products for wide range of vehicles and applications. There well known and decent quality brand also producing a lot for motorsport aplications so should be no problems using them or other top brands alike. Used ebc products in past for off road bike and car and can't complain with anything I've used from them.
Only thing with discs and pads is making sure to use same spec/quality I.e. Not using cheap cheap, crappy discs and then using a higher grade/spec/quality set of pads.
A lot of folk go for cheep crap discs due to the fact they are expensive for a good set and then get good quality and high spec pads due being cheaper and thinking that's alright.

Crap quality discs/lesser brands save money with the grade of steel they use and then the hardening/surface treating processes they go through. Meaning in some cases the pads actually eat through your discs!

In my opinion brakes should never be skimpt out on!

Anyway just my 2 pence about what I've used and found in the past. I'm sure some might agree and no doubt others will disagree but again it's just my opinion thrown in to try help yourself out!

Hope it helps you out in some way!👍🏻

Hi folks yeah seen plenty black ones about! It's not bad it's glued together nicely for the time being and not to noticeable! Haha well here's the giggle part... :rolleyes guess I'll have to spill..
My shed/workshop/man cave lol is decent size but I've built a bench into it now and well space is a bit tighter than I had expected  :(  still enough room just!.. and had the bike up on centre stand taking tank off and getting ready for balancing the carbs. Anyway it was nice sunny day outside and thought I'd take it outside instead. So pushed it off the stand and yeah you guessed it managed to hit the mud gaurd and crack it  :rolleyes  I know I'm a right kn@b!!

Ah right yes I see what you mean! Yeah there was no orange damping disc on when I changed it, but it was still the older 9mm nut that was on there

I believe mine to be a 98 fazersharp
Front sprocket did not have any orange plastic bit on it
I'm unsure if it has been changed or if that was the original sprocket.
Why are you asking all this anyway?
