Wiring - newbie questions
« on: 07 May 2017, 10:45:36 am »
Hi all,

I'm due to collect my 98 600 next week and have a couple of questions about wiring ...

It's had a replacement fairing at some point, and to my inexperienced eye the wiring looks a bit untidy - could anyone direct me to a photo of what it should look like please ?

Also, both lights are on when headlights are selected, and the near side remains lit when main beam is selected ... does this mean that the headlight mod has already been done ?

Lastly, there's a couple of connectors under the seat, towards the rear that I'm unsure about.

No pics at the mo ... and apologies for the length of the post 👍🏻

if the headlight mod has been done, the right hand one will be on for dipped beam as well as the left one.
the left one stays on when high beam is selected.

If the two connector blocks have a short length of wiring looped in them they are for a Yamaha aftermarket alarm system.
