Thanks, it's been a frustrating week, with all this snow, not had the chance to MOT it. So the first ride lingers on!

Nice one Chris. I'll practice the salute, I ususally ride to Squire's Motorcycle Cafe, near Leeds on a weekend (idealy in sunny weather so I might meet some local members there or recruit some new ones. Fazers are popular there.

Ha ha. Thanks for the friendly welcome. It looks like a great forum. Thanks to all of you for pointing Heather in the right direction. I was gob smacked that she had got me it, I just need to think of something for her now! Maybe a holiday or something.
I will post some pics asap maybe even a few of the GPZ too, if you have ever watched the film TopGun i'ts the bike Tom Cruise rides in the film. I have spent £900 quid just respraying the fairings and tank to match the colour scheme from the film!!

Introduction / Just Signed Up Thanks To My Wife

Hi there,
Thought i'd introduce myself. My name is James and thanks to my lovely wife Heather, I am now the proud owner of a 98 Fazer600. It's the bike i've always wanted since I was 13. I'm 27 now so it's been a long time coming!
Basically I came home on Saturday to find a Black Fazer on the drive way which she had bought from a member of this forum, who has kept the bike in near perfect condition and only 22k miles on the clock. The FZS has it's MOT booked in for Friday and I really can't wait to take it for a ride, looks like my days of riding my trusty Suzuki GS500 are over, so that will be up for sale soon.
I am also restoring a 1987 Kawasaki GPZ900R, which so far has cost me £2000 pounds, but I hope to turn a few heads in the Summer.
Anyway good to meet you all.
James.  :D
