The separate circuit board you supplied was for connecting up the fuel calculation feature to the gauge. As for the 3rd button mod you had spliced a wire onto the external temperature sensor but this was just bare & going to nothing. Christians site does show the wiring diagram (with additional resistor & diode) for the 3rd button but does not show where the button fits into the circuit.

Just got back from our tour around Scotland & every now & then when I grab a handful & start coming down the box I keep hearing what I can only describe as a high pitched squeal ! It's intermittent so hard to pinpoint where it's coming from. My obvious thought is the brakes but don't think it is that. Any suggestions ? Thanks

I resently replaced mine when fitting r1 forks & used tapered bearings, think they were made by ntn. They were quite cheap & have proved fine ! Getting the old races out was a job that required patience & a few harsh words along the way though 😀

R1 98-01 4xv, the headers won't fit but the exup valve is a straight swap, I had the same problem with my bike someone had removed the whole thing & just left the front plate on !

I had the same problem but some help from a lump hammer, Viking power & a lot of harsh language I got them fitted in the end. Let's just say they are never coming off !! Seems like they just needed that 0.2-0.3mm enlargement.
