Thank you for your interest Dude but I think the bike is already now sold, if it doesn't go then some pic's would be a good idea mate.

Up for grabs my dark blue 2005 Gen 1 with only 16,500 miles covered. This is my 3rd thou' over the last fourteen years with only one previous owner prior to my purchase of her in 2011. It has been well looked after in near mint condition with a recent new chain and sprockets fitted and serviced at the same time. It was to be a keeper but I have reluctantly decided to part with her due to back problems and to go for something smaller and lighter. Well worth an inspection you will not be disappointed. Contact Bert on 07809 224066. Thank you.

Hi Nick sorry to hear of your off, if you have suffered some fractures to your back then hopefully they should mend okay by them self. Take the opportunity to have a rest you will just have to suffer those nurses rolling you about and giving you bed baths, it's really terrible. (been there and done all that). Best Wishes.

Thanks to Eddie & Val for organising a great day out of riding for us, a route that Timmy did with us many times over the years and I'm sure he ordered it to stay dry with even some sunshine thrown in. :sun.
Finally getting to speak with a few of you gents that I've been meaning to for years was good and overall a very enjoyable day.  :lol

Here are some Pic's from the day.

Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner / Re: Radiator side covers.. Help me decide
« on: 25 March 2014, 11:01:55 pm »
Hi guys, noticed while washing the bike that a big chunk of paint has fallen off one of the radiator side covers.. Now I cannot decide wether to remove them and respray or get some blingy ones like the Beowulf ones?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/YAMAHA-FZS1000-FAZER-01-05-BEOWULF-RADIATOR-SIDE-PANELS-Y001SIDE-L-FZS-1000-/371017669639?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item5662605c07

I am not normally a fan of bling so I am swaying to the respray option. Unless anyone can offer a reason as to why the stainless jobbies give another added benefit?
If anyone has any pics of them on feel free to share.

thanks,
Fuzz

As fitted to my baby.   ;)

Hello Alexander, I liked your father a lot and he will be greatly missed, please may I extend my condolences and respect to you and the family on your loss. Over the years he and I had many a chat at various meets and he was always a lovely man to talk to.

Nearly four years ago I had a bad accident at work putting me in hospital for three months whilst my fractured back mended itself. During that time your dad travelled up to Coventry a couple of times on his bike to visit and support me, something I will never forget because it meant a lot at the time. He had a lot of very good friends on this site and will always be remembered.
Best Wishes.

Just found this snapshot clip of our great day out at Bruntingthorpe.
Fazers at Bruntingthorpe 2
You can just see a quick glimpse (very quick) of a younger, slimmer Pitternator (sorry Jon) and a slightly blurred one of Driller having a crafty fag at 0.13/14  :lol
Brought back great memories.
Got some stills somewhere, but can't seem find them at them at the moment.
Steve

Hi Steve, here you go mate.

Go steady and hope to see you at Birmingham this year.

Good stuff it will improve your mid range and acceleration, it did the job on my Gen2 when I had it even though it was a late one the improvement was quite noticeable.

Was good to see you guys today and be blessed with lovely weather, brilliant turnout with an estimated up to 450 bikes through the gates from Jacks hill meet up.
Each year the crowds get bigger and this time was no exception, well organised I thought apart from having to walk most of the way there once we had parked the bikes.  :lol

What time are you aiming to get there Bert? As I've registered fairly late, I doubt I'll receive anything through the post in time, so I'll just print off my registration confirmation & bring it with me, once I've sorted that I'll try & do some Foccer spotting.
I'm going out for a bimble tomorrow all being well, my first ride since June so it'll be a steady one and hopefully my back will survive  ;)

Hi Steve I'm also aiming for around nine so if we all put flashing lights on our heads and wear the button holes we should stand out enough to find each other.  :lol

Bert, Helen, Yellowwolf, I've just signed up for this rideout, meeting at Jack's Hill. I've had to leave it until now to sign up as I've not been able to ride since Father's Day in June, due to a back injury, but I'm now getting to the stage whereby I feel confident that my back will be ok - and I'm getting seriously p'd off with just looking at my bike parked up in the garage - I need to to get out on it  ;)
Not sure what time I need to be at Jack's Hill, seen it somewhere but can't find it now, but I won't be too late because I will need a sausage & bacon cob and a coffee  :lol

I'll look out for you all there  :) I'll be the fat lad on a black Tiger 1050, '09 plate  ;)

Look forward to seeing you fat lad.  :lol

Go steady with that back of yours mate.

Doddsie try taking a look at your email reply from the air ambulance in response to your registration.
Mine stated as below with a reference number that isn't on the paperwork.

Your order from The Air Ambulance has been processed successfully‏

The unique reference for this transaction is -----------

I hope this makes sense and helps.
