Title: Radiator size
Post by: HarryHornby on 05 March 2018, 06:20:17 am
Hi All,

I've got a radiator cover that I thought would fit my FZS600, but it doesn't.  I'm trying to work out what Fazer it's for, apparently it doesn't fit the Thou or the 8 so I'm hoping it's for the FZ6.

Could someone measure their radiator and in particular the distance between the 2 screws on the guard on either side?

Cheers

Hi Agricola,

Thanks for that, that seems massive.  Does the FZ6 have a big radiator?  What are the dimentions of the actual radiator please?  Height and width.

That 380mm is that the distance between the screws down the side of the rad that hold this little silver guards on the side?

Cheers

Hi Harry,

I dont know if its big or not, but it is the standard rad for the bike
Yep, 380 is the distance between the undeersides of the screw heads
Rad dims are 377w x 210h x 32 deep

Many thanks.  Makes perfect sense now.

That's confirmed it, the guard I have is for an FZ6 not my FZS600.  Time to sell it :-)
