Hope I've posted in the right area I have found the front mudguard extender in my garage, it was never fitted before my Fazer was written off in a SMIDSY. I'm Essex if anyone would like to collect (social distancing respected) or I can post. £10 plus postage. Cheers!

This could work....plus weather should be nice and warm. A route I've used before is on the A267 from Tunbridge Wells, this can involve a trip to Wesson's Cafe in Horam, avoiding the Dickers (Upper and Lower ) and then a blast through Jevington to wake up the old biddies and 4x4 types before arriving at Beachy Head.

If ever you are in Dorset (at this time of year) do go and visit TE Lawrence's house, very basic for such a decorated individual http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/clouds-hill/It's on Rhododendron mile and you can see why he loved charging about on his Brough

One to consider is the DL1000 GT. I picked mine up for not many beans. Good points;- Engine, torque, engine!! Cruising speeds Fun Comfort Luggage Can't really feel a pillion Costs of servicing/insurance/ running Purchase price Brilliant handling Bad points;-Screen wind protection (changed for a touring screen) Can get a bit juicy if making progress Looks (not the prettiest bike) My other half loves it, she is a slim hipped tall lady and even with a big old unit like me on the front we can do 300-400 miles a day without trouble. Worth a look if like me you think Gold Wing= might as well get a car

Have sent an email off. I was going to do one (a course that is) in the Spring so this may save a few quid. Thanking you!

Splendid idea! As long as the bib wearer isn't a Splitter or takes bib off *for a laugh* we should be fine

All those comming from Essex & East London, we could meet at the Thurrock Services and wait for the Kent contingent or at the Tea Hut at High Beach, any preferences?????
Either is good for me, I'd suggested an 0930(happy to meet earlier) meet at Thurrock services to get to High Beach for 10(ish) allows for a quick cuppa and blast to Saffron.

Clarkson is a bit of a silly billy. I'll recount a previous altercation.... Many years ago at a Top Gear live we were hosting some clients at the corporate bit and about to tuck into some after show beers. In breezes JC (note the initials) with hangers-on and starts to try and pinch our drinks. Being of similar height I approached JC and started to explain these were our drinks for our Clients and he was welcome to have one and I asked if he'd like to come and say hello to the team and the Clients. A fair approach I thought, WRONG!! "Eff off you pleb!", replied Jeremy. What a charmer! If I was a policeman at Downing St could have been worth a few quid JC has apologised for racist remarks, shagging his Wife's friend, shagging lot's of other people, having rows with his neighbours and being a general arse. I expect an apology for throwing the punch which he didn't mean to do and he'll be oh so sincere.... I'm biased, but imho he can do one
