yep, will do. done the valve this morning, was seized solid in housing end, managed to drift it out, but bush in housing seized well and,good, may just leave it that way, don't want to damage it trying to get it out, cleaned and copper greased everything, re assemble tomorrow, spray gt 85 on cover bolts over a few days, and give the socket a few good taps to shock it.

Well, after cooking Lukes head and mine!!  ive decided to have a shock of Luke, havent even been out on my new fazer yet, but im 17 stone...ish.....and will be riding two up now and again, so i think its a good investment. Just wont be able to eat fro the next two weeks.

good thanks,its a clean bike, exup does need a service, rev needle did go to seven, doesnt suprise me though, its hardly been used, and had lived under a cover outside. pats info will come in handy.

Thanks for the info, I'm collecting it quite early, around 0730, so revving it may not be an option, but I'll take it for a quick spin if poss. Its had some light damage, which has been sorted, but its registered as a class D, which doesn't bother me, very good price to because of this.O0

Im off first thing in the morning to pic this up...  can you do a quick check on anything whilst viewing, or is it best to take it for a run to make sure its working ok? have no issue in servicing them, as long as its ok to start off with, its done 20000, and on a 05 plate..

In the imminent arrival of my first Fazer 1000 this week, I dusted the leathers off, and cleaned my helmet, (not my cock). Shes a bit dated now, and perhaps its time for a new one..Now you hear different reports saying today cheaper helmets are just as good as the expensive ones, so has anyone got any good recommendations for a decent but affordable lid.

Cheers guys, only reason for asking is that I have about 15 litres of fully that I use on my Off Roaders...I think the previous owner has been using semi 10 40, probably best to stick with what he's been using.

Can anyone advise?
Collecting my first Fazer 1000 tommorow, and first job will be to drop the oil and filters, and remove side casings, rub down and respray. Now I have some
Putoline and Motorex 10 50w fully synthetic oil, could this be used? And what spray would you recommend for the side cases.

Just thought ide pop in a say a quick hello, picking up my first Fazer 1000 this monday, its an 03, gorgeous red/maroon...Spend most of my time thrashing around on enduro bikes, but fancy some touring around to this year.. Will be bothering those in know, on how to set the suspension, ect...so I hope this will be ok...i get some pics up to..
