For Sale & Wanted / Re: Sprint RS for Gen1 Fazer 1000

Have you tried putting the Sprint ST 955i bars on?  They're a straight fit and made a big difference for me

For Sale & Wanted / Maxton shock - FZ1 2006+ NOW SOLD
« on: 13 May 2017, 09:51:43 PM »
Maxton Shock for Yamaha FZ1 Fazer - in very very good condition.  Low mileage - just a few thousand miles on it

£250 inc P&P - a bargain

Was fitted to my FZ1-S (2010) - but should fit any of the Gen 2 FZ1 Fazers ( 2006-2014) - however, you should probably double-check on http://maxtonsuspension.co.uk if you're buying for anything other than a 2010 FZ1-S

Currently set up for a 90kg rider in all the kit - as you can see from the pix, there's plenty of adjustment up and down from that.

This is a serious upgrade on the cheapo shock that's fitted as standard and transforms the ride

You're welcome to collect the shock from Portsmouth to save on the P&P, although if collecting it's Cash on Collection

SOLD

Sargent rider's seat - WS-562F

Black with black piping - goes with all bike colours.  In excellent condition

Fits Yamaha FZ1, FZ1-S - 2006 onwards (was fitted to my 2010 FZ1-S)

http://www.sargentcycle.co.uk/acatalog/yamaha_fz1_06_f_only.html & http://www.sargentcycle.com/Seats-Accessories/Yamaha-FZ-1-2006-Components/Black-WS-562F-19.html for manufacturer's details.

A big upgrade on the standard Yamaha seat and well worth the asking price of £150 inc P&P

Are they not straight through as standard?  I thought the exup was in the can, rather than in the headers.

Ohlins rear shock.
In Good Condition - it transformed the ride of the Fazer for me. These are ruinously expensive new - however, this one's used - so you can have it for £400 (less than half the new price)

Titax Adjustable Short Levers.
Both Clutch & Brake Levers - In Very Good Condition - £50 for the pair (less than half the new price)

Pix at houlsby.net/bikebits

These were fitted to my 2003 (53) FZS1000 - should fit any of the first gen models

Both items now sold - thanks for looking

If you're interested, I have a used Ohlins shock (YA050 - 46PRCS - with remote adjuster) for sale - it came off my 2003 FZS 1000, so should be fine on the 2005.  I'm looking for £400 - other Fazer bits also for sale - http://houlsby.net/bikebits/

eBike seem ok too - all my additions are listed out for peace of mind and don't seem to be over the top for price either

+1 for the 758s - also tapped them to take the original bar ends, 'cos the cheapo alloy ones don't cut the mustard
