You are buying a well sorted 2002 Yamaha Fazer 1000, 26000 miles, bike will come with a new 12 month MOT, fitted with all the extras you will need, Luke (devilsyam) R6 rear shock conversion, completely transforms the handling, 4% ignition advancer, SP engineering end can and link pipe, Oxford heated grips, digital gear indicator, led running lights, crash bungs, Baglux tank cover, seat re-worked by Tony Archer (Huddersfield), slightly lower and much more comfortable on long journeys, adjustable levers, fender extender, rear hugger, manual can chain tensioner, double bubble screen, nearly new Road Attack 3 tyres, only selling as bought a BMR XR 1000 SE. I Had one of these for a short period of time. If you can get over the looks it does a great job.
easily hold a ton plus without wind blast, keeps you warm and dry ish as well

Its really tall 52cm but as you rightly said fugly, have to do a bit of serious thinking, found supplier in UK £117 delivered

Purely personally speaking, I think that large screens look wrong on bikes like the Fazer, but I sympathise with the need for a decent screen!
Agree completely but going to Ireland for the NW200 again this year, leaving Manchester ride up to CairnRyan for the short crossing to Belfast (my mate does not do boats too well) just fancy a bit more protection from the windblast, get back from trip will be back to short double bubble again

Or get a proper rivet on Yoshi plate for a more authentic snide look. Got mine from Yoshi UK including the rivets.
SP Engineering in Somerset do good cans for sensible money. 
I got a SP can, really well made and a really nice guy, had problems with my link pipe and he sorted no problem, would deffo use again

65 now, 66 in May, had many over the years ranging from XS750 triple, CBR100, Hayabusa etc etc, got a Suzuki SZ on a whim, horrible thing, had a TDM 900 for a while, got a Bandit 600 as thought it would be lighter but lads i go out with step on a bit and Bandit was wringing its neck every time i went out, enter the Fazer 1000, had a test ride on one a long time ago and was impressed, now got a low miles 2004, dropped one tooth on front sprocket and happy days, now goes like a stabbed rat well comfy, had my seat redone by Tony Archer, no back pain, no numb bum, now have a little smile at all mature sportbike riders, having a stretch at every red light cos back is breaking, flapping hands at every opportunity to relieve cramps etc etc, this one's a keeper an as long as I can get on it will be riding it

Had mine around 9 months 2002, pretty good condition with aftermarket can, posh seat, Renthals, heated grips, R1 gear linkage, 27k gave £1800

As above, my fazer broke down in Preston two days before i was due to go to Ireland for NW200, bought a new battery to get it home, checked all wiring, not charging so either reg/rec or coils, bought both on Monday, luckily reg/rec fixed problems so got to Ireland coils & flywheel now for sale £65 ono collection from Ashton Under Lyne, Lancs, OL7 postcode Now on E Bay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/142389837751?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649
